unit4 dont eat in class.第六课时 section b 3a - self check (写作课)teaching goals:一、功能:talk about rules. dont run in the hallways. can we eat in the classroom? we must be on time for class. what does he have to do? 二、词汇和常用表达:learn to use can ,have to, must and the useful expressions( what do you have to do? what can i do? etc.)三、学习策略:学会按照逻辑顺序拟定写作提纲,通过小组互助提高写作技巧和能力。四、文化知识:no rules no standards! (没有规矩不成方圆!) (目标引领:从功能、词汇和常用表达学习策略及文化知识四个方面阐述了本节课的教学目标,层次清晰,一目了然。)teaching and learning steps:step1. pre-writing activities1. revision(话题复习): task 1 talk about family rules. task 2 review school rules: (设计意图:通过图片引导学生复习家庭规则和学校规则,调动学生积极性,充分热身,学会正确表达本单元句型。)2. make sentence.use can, cant, have to/must and dont to write about the rules at school.(self check 2)1. arrive late/class _2. listen/teacher _3. be noisy/library _4. speak english/english class _5. eat/dinning hall _(设计意图:把self check 2提到前面来讲,正好顺接着第一部分的口语表达,把本单元的核心句型落实到笔头,起到加强学习效果的作用。)step2. leading- in(导入):t: do you think the rules in your family are right? s1: no.t: why? s2: because i have to follow many rules. t: i think we all have many rules at home and school. is it fair? lets look at a girl named zhao pei in your books. what does she think of the rules? step3.reading 3a . task 1. complete zhao peis letter to dr. know using have to/must, can or not. 1. before filling the blanks, give the students some guide. (设计意图:在做漏词填空这一类题目的时候,可以适当地给予学生做题方法指导,让学生在遇到此类题目的时候有章可循、有法可依,知道从何处入手,怎样提高正确率,都是老师应点拨的地方。)2. fill in the blanks. after that, check the answers. task 2. read 3a again and answer the questions. task3. list the rules of zhao peis family in order.step4. while-writing activities: complete the chart with the rules in your home and school. put an x for the rules you think are unfair.1. write an outline(拟定提纲) write some key words in the following chart according to the list of 3a:t: give the students a few minutes to write an outline. prepare your passage orally according to the details in the chart. dear miss green:im not happy. can you help me? i have many rules at home and school. at home, i have to get up early because i at school, i must(设计意图:有框架才能添枝叶,所以拟定草稿是写好英语作文的第一步,然后根据框架丰富和充实内容,逐步完成作文。)2. write your own dialogue. write the draft in your exercise book.3. correct the dialogue. here is an evaluation scale(评价标准). lets have a look.is there a topic sentence(主题句)?is there and or but?did you tell your opinion?are there any grammatical mistakes(语法错误)?t: modify each others passage in pairs according to the evaluation scale above. correct mistakes as possible as you can.(设计意图:让学生们小组内互评互改,找出语法错误或需要调整的地方,引导学生在批改中学习,在批改中提高,取长补短,即所谓“兵教兵”。与教师逐篇批改相比,这种做法省时省力见效快。) step5 . post-writing activities: 展示评价 1) each group hands in one letter. teacher shows them on the screen and evaluate them one by one. 2) choose several ss to evaluate the letter item by item in the evaluation scale. 3) each group elect the best piece from all the letters of them and give them to the teacher. t: ill show them on the screen. the group leaders will give a grade (等级) to each letter according to the evaluation scale. a. best b. better c. good d. just so-so praise top three letters . 4)get all the students to transcribe their letters on page 30 in the textbooks.(设计意图:教师从不同小组随机抽取3-5篇日记,投影到大屏幕。教师先做评价示范,学生再对本组作品评价,推选出本组最佳书信,交给教师,投影到大屏幕。各小组组长为评委,按a、b、c、d四个档次投票,排名前三为优秀。)step6. sum up t: just now we talked about your passages. how can we write a good passage? sa: . sb: . sc: . t: if you want to write a good passage , you have to pay attention to the following points: 1) diary format(格式) 2) things 3)who 4) times 5) places 7) feelings 8) topic sentences(设计意图:经过前面多种形式的反复操练,进入概括总结阶段。引导学生回顾达成目标的过程,总结写好书面表达的要素, 升华提高。)step7. self checktask 1. fill in the blanks with the words in the box, and then check the answers. task 2. retell the short passage according to the picture. (设计意图:从书面作文返回到口头表达,既巩固了写作技能又促进了口语表达能力的提高。同时,根据多元评价的要求,善于发现学生的闪光点,对学生作品不同的亮点给予不同的奖项,激发活动热情,提高参与积极性。)step 8. guessing gamest: after retelling the passage, lets play a guessing game to get relaxed. step 9. homeworktask one(必做): if you have a chance to make some rules for your parents, what rules would you like to make? write a letter to your parents in a polite way to make them accept your suggestions. task two(选做): 本课亮点: 1. 按照英语写作课的过程性写作模式,写前:展示目标(单元)话题复习热身导入看图说话短文填空文体结构分析展示标准谈论实际;写中:拟定提纲起草初稿修改初稿;写后:典型展示师生评价生生互评总结反思口语输出布置作业。环环相扣,步步为营。这不仅有助于学生形成合理的写作思路,养成良好的写作习惯,而且有利于降低写作难度,培养学生写作自信心。2.充分利用多媒体课件, 课堂导入采用恰当的图片,引导学生进入预设情景,展开丰富的想象,为口语输出提供可能。 3.多元化全方位评价学生,鼓励学生作品中的每个亮点。通过展示学生习作,鼓励了学生的参与热情和成就感。努力体
