lets play sportscomic strip and welcome to the unit教学目标1.知识目标:重点单词:walking, really, bowl, time, tennis, volleyball重点短语: many times a day, go swimming,walk to重点句子: im good at playing tennis. i like swimming. i go swimming every week.2.技能目标:掌握学校生活中常见的体育器材名称。能够谈论体育运动的简单用语,学生能用英语介绍自己喜欢的运动3.情感目标:通过学习能模仿并表演对话。重点词汇、交际常用语的学习和运用难点掌握且能熟练的运用有关运动的简单用语教学过程板书设计 step one: warm-up1. introduce the topic with the 30th olympic games ,put some pictures about the game on the blackboard. then teacher says: i like lindan best , he does well in badminton, he got many golden medals in the past matches, what sport do you like?2. let the students choose the sport they like and talk with them.3. help students revise the names of sports and present the new wordsstep two: presentation1. ask students: what sport do you like best?2. t write the answers on the blackboard: go swimming/shopping/fishing/climbing, fly kites and so on.step three: presentationthe teacher says sports are loved by you ss ,it can bring health to us, can make us relaxed, it is popular in our dear friend hobo and eddie as well.now the two friends are talking about their favorite sports.listen to the conversation between hobo and eddie and then answer the question: does eddie like any sports?3. listen to the tape again and answer the other question:what sports does he do?listen and repeat ,then act it out .explain the important phrase “many times a day” once a day /twice a day/ three times a day e.g. i do morning exercises once a day. i do eye exercises twice a day. i have meals three times a day.6. then let ss fill in the blanks according to the new words.we know eddie eats a lot and sleeps a lot ,he is fat,he needs to lose weight,what should he do?i give ss answers, such as eat less, more exercise, sleep less, active attitude to life and so on.finally read the dialogue together.step four: consolidation:as ss, we have too much work, too many lessons form morning to night, we have less time to esercise,many of us have bad eyesight,some are weak, some are fat, what should we do to keep healthy?divide ss into groups and they discuss the topic, then one from each group gives me the answer, such as : eat less meat and more fruit and vegetables, do morning exercises, take a walk after supper, go outside instead of playing computer games all the time, watch less tv and so on.step five: summary in this lesson, we revised and learned some names of sports first. then we talked about favorite sport. after class you can practice conversations about sports with your classmates.step six: do some exercisestep seven: homework:1、make a plan about your daily activity2、preview part reading comic strip & welcome to the unit walking many times a daybowl go swimmingtime walk tote
