You can call me Ms Chen.S: Good morning, Ms Chen.T: Nice to meet you. S: Nice to meet you, too.Step 2 Warming upT: I have a problem. This morning I found a key on the floor, but I dont know who lost it. I want to find the owner. What should I do? Who can help me solve the problem?Step 3 Presentation1、T shows a pen and asks “Whats this in English?” Ss: Its a pen. T writes a pen on the blackboard. Then show a pencil and ask the same question. Write the word on the blackboard. After all the words are on the blackboard, ask them to read after the teacher. Then,complete 1a. Ask the students to match the words and objects in the picture by writing the letter of the object on the blank line after the word.2、Pick up a girls pen and ask “Excuse me. Is this your pen?” Help her to answer“Yes, it is.” Say to the class “This is her pen. Give the pen to her and say “Here you are.” Help the student to answer “Thank you.” Repeat with a boy, saying “This is his pen.” T shows a students pencil and ask him(her) “Is this your pencil?” S: Yes, it is. T shows an own pencil and ask the same student” Is this your pencil?” S: No, it isnt. T: Oh, its my pencil. A: Is this/that.? B: Yes, it is. / No, it isnt.A: Are these/those ?B: Yes, they are. / No, they arent. Explain it to Ss: In writing, an interrogative sentence ends with a question mark. In spoken English, your voice goes down when you speak a statement, and your voice goes up when you speak an interrogative sentence.Step 5 Listening1、1b Get the students to listen and number the conversation.
