unit 3 online tourscomic strip & welcome to the uniti. teaching aims and learning objectivesby the end of the lesson, students should be able to:1. master the important words, phrases and sentences;2. learn to name the different parts of a computer;3. learn to talk about the basic uses of computers;4. know how to make good use of computers.ii. teaching contents1. new words and phrases: programme, keyboard, unit, main mouse, screen, receive, online, ah, channel, remote control, word processing, search for information, send and receive emails2. new structures: it looks like a tv. lets change the channel. what do you usually use your computer for? iii. focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty1. to name different parts of a computer.2. to talk about different uses of computers.3. to know how to make good use of computers.iv. teaching procedurescomic stripstep 1 lead-infree talkt: hello, boys and girls. as we all know, the spring break is coming. do you want to travel to these places?t: i want to travel to these places too. how can we travel there for free?t: yes, we can watch tv. besides, we can also use computers to go travelling for free. 【设计意图:通过自由交谈,引导学生思考,导入今天课堂的主题:电脑。】step 2 presentation1. watch and answert: do eddie and hobo know well about computers? lets watch the flash and then try to answer the following questions:(1) what do eddie and hobo think the computer looks like? (2) what do they think the mouse is? 【设计意图:通过观看动画,让学生了解对话大意,知道对话主题。】2. read the conversationt: read the conversation after the tape. pay attention to your pronunciation.t: work in pairs. one will play the role of hobo and the other eddie.【设计意图:不同形式的朗读方式为学生提供了更多机会来练习自己的语音语调。】3. act it out t: now its your turn to act out the conversation. 4. fill in the blankst: look at the screen and fill in the blanks. and then we will check the answers together.【设计意图:通过填空练习帮助学生加深对课文的理解,并巩固本部分所学内容。】welcome to the unitstep 1 presentation1. brainstormingt: how much do you know about a computer? write down the words you know about computers. show students some pictures about computers: email, games, blog, keyboard, click, internet.【设计意图:通过头脑风暴,帮助学生复习有关电脑的词汇,激发他们的求知欲。】2. learn different parts of computerst: most of you must have a computer, right? and i am sure you know the names of different parts of a computer. do you know how to say these in english? t: now please open your books and turn to page 35. write the correct answers in the boxes in part a.3. test your memoryt: who has the best memory in our class? lets complete the sentences on the screen.【设计意图:通过填空练习帮助学生巩固所学知识。】step 2 practice1. listen and answert: computers are very useful in our daily lives. simon and daniel are talking about the different uses of computers. lets listen to their conversation, and answer the question: what does simon usually use computer for?【设计意图:让学生带着问题听对话,帮助他们更好的了解对话内容,同时训练听力技能。】2. read the conversation together3. learn about different uses of computerst: simon uses the computer to search for information. what can you use a computer for? you can use the pictures and phrases on the screen to help you. t: what else can you use a computer for? work in groups and have a discussion from the following three aspects: for fun/for study/for life.【设计意图:通过展示图片和语句结构帮助学生更好地开展讨论。鼓励学生说出电脑的更多用途,拓宽他们的思维。本环节的一系列活动可为接下来的教学步骤做铺垫。】step 3 production1. make up new conversationst: lets work in pairs and make up your new conversations. you can use the conversation on the screen as a model.【设计意图:通过编创新对话,帮助学生在语境中练习所学内容,并掌握这些知识。】2. make a report t: work in groups of four and make a report about computers. you can divide your report into three parts: introduction to computersdifferent parts of computersuses of computers【设计意图:通过完成一份报道,让学生对电脑的相关知识有一个整体的把握。提供范文和有用的短语供学生参考,帮助他们顺利完成本项任务。】step
