Section B 2a2c 教学设计 教学目标:知识目标:1. 学习并熟练掌握下列单词。 dirty, kitchen, noisy, relax, terrible, strict, make ones bed, follow the rules 2. 学习并熟练掌握下列句型,谈论家规和校规。 (1) Get up now and make your bed. (2) Dont leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen. (3) I must read a book before I can watch TV. (4) I have to go to bed before 10:00. (5) they make rules to help us. 能力目标: 谈论家规和校规情感目标:能读懂一些英语的规则制度,能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则,理解没 有规矩不成方圆;无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则,按规则办事。教学重点:Talk about the family and school rules. 辨析too/either/also;区分too many/too much/much too教学难点: 1. can和cant的用法。 2. have to 和must的用法。教学方法: 情景教学法;任务型教学法。二、教学流程.Warming- up and revision 1. Greet the Ss. 2. Free talk: 谈论家规和校规。例如:What are your school rules? We cant arrive late for class. We must be on time. Can you eat in the classroom? No, we cant. But we can eat in the dining hall. What about your family rules? I must do my homework in the evening. .感知体验 1.Thinking T: Everybody may have something unhappy. When you are unhappy who do you like to talk to? S1: I like to talk to my aunt. S2: I like to talk to my best friend. S3: I like to talk to T: OK. Do you know, when Im unhappy I like to talk to Dr. Know. Shes great and he knows everything. She can give you the best advice. Now, lets work on 2b and lets meet Dr. Know. 2. Presentation (1)Show some pictures on the big screen. Teach Ss the new words and expressions. dirty, , kitchen, noisy, relax, terrible, strict, strict ,make ones bed, follow the rules (2)Ss learn the new words and expressions and try to remember them. .强化巩固 Reading 1. Fast readingT: There are many rules in Mollys home and school. She feels unhappy. Read the letter and find the answers to the questions:(1) Why does Molly have to run to school? (2) Can she play basketball after school? (3) Does she have to go to bed before 10:00? 2. Careful reading(1) 1) Read the letter again and underline the rules for Molly. 2) Ss read the letter and try to find the rules for Molly and underline them. 3) Check the answers with the class. (Let some Ss read their answers aloud. Let other Ss add some rules. ) 3. Careful reading(2) 1) Read Dr. Knows letter and answer this question: What does she think of the school and home rules? 2) Ss read Dr Knows letter and find the answer to this question. 3) Let one student read out his/her answer. (She thinks parents and schools are sometimes strict, but they make rules to help us. We have to follow them. )4. 教师精讲点拨。(1)There are too many rules! 有太多的规矩!(教材第23页)too many意为“太多”,其中too用作程度副词,表示“太”,修饰形容词many,many后接可数名词的复数形式。There are too many students in our school. 在我们学校有太多的学生。辨析:too many, too much与much too too many意为“太多的”,其后接可数名词的复数形式。There are too many flowers in the garden. 花园里的花太多了。too much意为“太多的”,后接不可数名词,还可修饰动词作状语。I have too much homework this evening. 今天晚上我的作用太多了。He talks too much. 他说得太多了。much too意为“太”,用来增强语气,后面常接形容词或副词。This little boy is much too fat. 这个小男孩太胖了。(2)After dinner, I cant relax either. 晚饭后我也不能轻松。 also,too和either辨析also通常放在肯定句中,一般放在助动词或情态动词之后。too 一般用在肯定句末。either 表示“也”时,一般只用于否定句,且置于句末。(3)strict adj.严格的,严厉的 be strict with sb 对某人严格的be strict in sth 对某事要求严格e.g. The math teacher is very strict with his student. 数学老师对我们要求严格。 My mother is strict in her work. 我妈妈对她的工作要求严格。5.Read the letters again and complete the sentences with have to / must, can or cant. 学生独立完成该题,小组合作探究答案。提示: have to与must的用法:1)must表示一种主观的需要,而have to表示一种客观的需要,意思是“不得不”。如: I have to attend an important meeting this afternoon. 今天下午我不得不参加一个重要的会议。 Mother is out, so I have to look after the shop. 妈妈不在家,因此我不得不照看商店。2)have to的否定形式是dont have to, 相当于neednt。如: They dont have to buy a computer at present. 他们目前没有必要买电脑。6.Check the answers. . 作业布置一. 熟读两封英语信。二. 用下列词汇造句。1. too many 2. make ones bed 3. have to 4. be strict with sb. 三、板书设计 Unit 4 Dont eat in class.
