Module One deals with Travel in time and space while module Twodeals with Rights and responsibilities. And Module One is made up of three units. This is the Integrated Skills of Unit Two. This part aims to improving students listening, writing and speaking. 四、 Teaching methodThe key to this part is to help the students overcome the difficulties they might come across while Practising. So practising-while-presentation method is well-recommended.Teaching proceduresStep 1 Warming-up (A) Boys and girls. Spring has come. Step 2 Presenting Before traveling, its possible to make holiday plans according to the places you plan to go. (Show Part A1 on page 34 to the students.) The students are planning their trips to different parts of China. They want to know which parts of the country match their interests. Read what they are saying and put a tick in the correct boxes in the table. Step 3 Listening to the tapeThe students are listening to a radio programme about traveling in China. Listen to the tape carefully, trying to answer: Which is the best season in China for them to do different things? Then put a tick in the correct boxes in Part A2 on page 33. Step 4 Practising Amy wants to give her classmates some advice on traveling in China. Fill in the blanks of Part A3 on page 35 with theinformation in Parts A1and A2 on page 34. Step 5 Presenting If you have planned to go to foreign countries /go abroad, such as England, the USA, Singapore, you need to get some information. What can you do to get the information? To read books. To search the Internet. To go to a travel agency. To ask others who have ever been there. How long will Amy stay in Singapore? 5. Does Simon know how long it takes to fly to Singapore? What will he do? Step 7 Practising Where are you going in the coming holiday? Read the dialogue, and then use it as a model. Work in pairs. Take turns to ask questions about planning a holiday. A: Where will you go for your trip? B: Ill go to A: Why?
