We can also call them a pair of black trousers. (Get the Ss to guess what a pair of means. And then ask some of the students to give a few examples of how a pair of can be used: a pair of white shorts, a pair of small yellow socks, a pair of big brown sh oes.) (2) Talk about the picture in 2e. Introduce the people in the picture and learn the new word, woman. T: Where are the people in the picture at?T: Who are they?The girl is Mary. The woman is the seller in the store. (1) Read the conversation. T: What does Mary want? (2)Ask Ss to underline the words that may change when buying something else. (4) Study the notes on P61 & 62.
