- 很成功。2.although 作连词,意为“尽管,虽然”,常用来引导让步状语从句。although与 though 区别:(1) 作连词,二者可互换,although比 though 更正式。(2) although不用作副词,though可用作副词,常放在句末,意为“可是,不过”(3) 在as though“好像,仿佛”与even though“即使,纵然”等固定短语中不能用although替换though.3.as a result 用于引出结果,常用于两个句子之间,其中一个是另一个的结果,且前后要用标点符号与两个句子隔开,意为“结果是”。it snowed heavily this morning. as a result, i was late.今天早上雪下得很大。所以,我迟到了。as a result of 意为“由于,因为”,相当于because of .he was late as a result of the heavy snow.= he was late because of the heavy snow.他迟到是由于大雪所造成的。4.name ( v.&n.)v. 给命名 name sb.给某人命名 name after 以命名 n.名字 in the name of 以的名义5.achieve vachieve a balance between a and bachievement nhis great achievement brought him to the attention of all the leaders. 6.matter v. 有关系、要紧、有妨碍what does it matter?
