Lead-in(5)Watch a short film Alice in wonderland to enjoy a world full of wonders.T: A great film, right? Did you watch it before? No? Do you know the name of the film?No? Never mind. Ill tell you. Its Alice in wonderland. A quite famous story. Its popular all over the world. Today, well learn a part of the story. Down the rabbit hole. Together. Down the rabbit hole. Step2. Pre- reading(5)a. Predict the content of the story according to the title and three pictures in the text.T: What is the text about? Can you guess?We can always get some useful information from the title and the pictures. Do you agree? From the title, we know something happened. Down the rabbit hole. Who, when, where, why and how. From the pictures, we can get more detailed information.( Ask three students to describe them in turns. )Picture1: A rabbit wore a coat. There was a watch in its hand. It was looking at the time. How amazing!Picture2: The girl Alice ran after the rabbit and they ran across the field.Picture3: Where was she? How did she get there? By falling down the rabbit hole? Maybe. She wanted to go through the door. But the door was too small and it was locked.Great. What can we get from them? Can you tell me what the text is about now? It is a story about Alice and the rabbit.Wonderful. The story told that a girl named Alice saw an amazing rabbit and followed it. Then she fell down a hole. Would you like to know what exactly happened to Alice.Step3. While- reading(15)Task1: Skimming. Read quickly and divide the text into three parts.T: Its time to begin our trip with Alice.
