一堂幼儿园句型新授课湖南省宁远县教师进修学校 陈玮Teaching content: Review the sentence pattern of “ I wash my face.” And learn a new sentence pattern of “ I brush my teeth.”Introduction of my students: There are 25 children in my class, their age are about 5-6 years old. They have some English learning experience, so they can understand some English words or simple sentence. Introduction of my design of this lesson: In my class, many children dislike washing face and brushing teeth, so I designed two lessons to help them develop good habits of keeping tidy and clean. Also, they like stories and music, especially stories about animals like tiger or rabbit. Therefore, I choose a story about tigers teeth to start my lesson to attract their attention and arose interesting. Since it is hard for them to understand my story in English, I have to use Chinese to tell them this story and explain my instruction if necessary. I brush my teethI. Teaching Aims: 1. Review “tiger, I wash my face.” 2. Children be able to speak and understand the new expression: I brush my teeth. 3. Develop childrens good habit of healthy keeping. 4. Develop childrens basic ability of listening and speaking. Enable them to use the structure freely in the real situation.II. Teaching method and study method Audio-lingual method, communicative approach, TPR and games.III. Focus & Difficult Points: Focus: the sentence pattern: I brush my teeth Difficult point: the pronunciation of “teeth”IV. Teaching Preparation: 1. Hanging picture of teeth 2. Music and pianoV. Teaching Steps: 1. Warm up and organization ( 2 min) Play the piano to attract childrens attention. Song: Good morning to you. T: One two three! S: Eyes on teacher. 2. Lead-in ( 3 min) Story telling-The Tiger without teeth/ Review the word “tiger”. T: Good morning boys and girls, I will tell you an interesting story. (Tell children the story, in order to make them understand it, teacher can use Chinese.) Tiger did not know how to brush teeth, so he has a toothache, lets teach tiger the right way to brush teeth. 3. Presentation ( 10 min) Lead the children to study new words “ brush, teeth” , display the picture of “ teeth”, help children to find their teeth, read the word, and ask children to read it for several times. Pay attention to the pronunciation of “teeth”, check it one by one if necessary. Show the action of “brush teeth” in TPR way and ask children to imitate it. (TPR and check the progress) And teach children the right way to brush teeth as well as the sentence pattern “ I brush my teeth”. Practice it for several times, check the progress. Tell children to develop a good habit of keeping tidy and clean. 4. Games to consolidation (15 min) Game 1: Dance with music.Play the music, sing and dance with it : “I brush my teeth. ” Lead the children to practice with the music. After several times, add another sentence pattern they have learned before: I wash my face, I brush my teeth.Game 2: Follow me.Teacher says the instruction in the TPR way : “ All the children sleep, morning is coming, get up, boys and girls, get washed, and brush teeth. ” ( Ask the children to imitate the action of teacher at the first time. Then do the action according to teachers instruction. Go around the classroom and check the progress.) Finally, the children say “ I wash my face, I brush my teeth” with action. 5. Extension ( 2 min) To lead the children use English to express “ I wash my face, I brush my teeth. ” in daily life.Attachment:1. The story of “The Tiger without teeth” There is a tiger in the forest. His teeth are very sharp. the other animals are afraid of him very much. One day, a rabbit gave some candies to him. Tiger loves it very much, but he dislike brushing teeth.
