There are many folks who have to learn English to acquire academic degrees and pass CET band 4 or 6, however, that is my goal too. I like this class very much , even though I have learned English for ten years , my English is still poor .At the beginning of this class I was nervous and feared, I didnt have enough confidence . My major is fashion design, so I havent spent much time on learning English. I have tried my best to improve my English level, but I still have many difficulties in English studying. When I was a junior student, I didnt know how to learn English .But I convincedthat no pain no gain , so I spent a lot of time on learning English. To my sad ,my English hasnt been improved clearly. I still cant really enjoy the joy of English. I often feel depressed,I have strong willing to change this situation. Over the past few years, I often considered that how to do for my English learning. Now I am a college student , I want to learn English well . I have paid more patience than before to learn English. I hope I can speak English fluently in future. One day I must learn English as well as my major. Things are not so difficult , I must believe in myselve, and just like a ad says,Nothing is impossible. Nowadays English language learning has become a trend in China. I think this phenomenon is a international trend.The 21 st century is the era of globalization. Learning English is necessary for college students to communicate with people around the world. So in our country English is very important ,there are many remedial classes. Some people claim that English can be learnt well in short time and they have found a shortcut. In my opinion,there is no shortcut in English learning. I think there are several reasons .In the first place，there is no language can be learnt easily,even ones mother tongue.We need a lot of practice and long-term adherence.Secondly,English has its own grammar system which is quite different from Chinese language. We have to transform our habits of speaking.Thirdly , cultural differences is also a trouble in language learning. If you want to learn English well,you have to understand western culture. In my mind , reciting words is very difficult . As far as I know, this issue also puzzles the other students who want to improve English level . I have a bad memory , so I cant remember so much words . Around me , there are some people who like reciting words in the morning, but I dont think this method is suitable for me. In fact, I hate machinery studying.Some people say that it is easier to learn English in the English speaking countries, such as England ,Unite States ,Canada ,and so on. Maybe its true , but most students have no opportunity to go abroad. I have a strong desire to find a good way to improve my English. My dad once said, “Persistence is very important in studying”, I believe as long as I have strong willing and work hard , I will learn English well . I like watching English movies , its useful for my English listening and I often learn some good sentences from the film. American films are very popular in the world.Its convenient for us to watch these English movies.As Miss Shi said,Watching film can help us to record some new words and some interesting sentences. Generally, besides watching movies we also can listen to English songs or chat with foreigners. We can acquire English information by reading English newspaper and communicating with the other in English. Now computer is very convenient for us to learn English , we can talk with foreigners, read English news and query any information which is good for our learning on net. When you read English books, you may feel boring, please dont give up your learning, persistence is the best way for you to enjoy the delight of English.I want to pass the CET band 4, so I must recite a lot of words .This term I find a way to study English , just like professor Fan had said: read the simple books. So I bought a book of 200 samples from online store last month.Every night I read two or three articles . When I encounter any raw word of article, I will fing out the meaning of them by dictionary .Most articles are written by students , so they are easily to be understood and remembered.Everyday I review the content that I had read last night. I can remember more and more new words guadually now. I think it is one of the most efficient methods for me to learn English. I will always stick to this method. When I read English articles,I also try to recite some beautiful sentences, its good for my studying. Its very necessary to foster a sense of language, I think the best way of developping a sense of language is reading and reciting a lot. I still pay attention to my pronunciation too. Spoken English and listening English are both important . These years I have done a lot of excises for exam ,but the effect is not significant. Last week I took an examination of CET band 4. Its the first time that I take this examination , I found that listening is very important .In China the deaf and dumb English is common. In fact I am not good at English listening. As a result , I failed to complete listening comprehension well. I think English listening comprehension is too difficult.But I believe I can do better than before ,because I am young adult and should be able to take responsibility for my future . I must manage my time on my own and make decision by myself .I will try my best to pass the CET band 4 next year.The goal can bring me confidence and energy. I have developed detailed plans to improve my English learning.
