A. if B. when C. that D. where宾语从句考点宾 that引导 (that无词义,从属连词只起连接主句与从句的作用,在从句中不充当句子成分,that在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。)语 引导词 if/whether引导 (从属连词if和whether “是否” ,只起连接主句与从句的作用,在从句中不充当句子成分。)从 特殊疑问词引导 (由连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which和连接副词when, where, why, how引导的宾语从句。它们除了起连接主句与从句的作用外,还在从句中充当句子成分。)句 语序-用陈述语序,即:主句 + 连接词 + 主语 + 谓语 + 其它。三 如果主句的时态是一般现在时,宾语从句该用什么时态就用什么时态。大 时 如果主句的时态是一般过去时,宾语从句只能用相应的过去时态(一般过去时, 过去进行时, 过去将来时,过去完成时)。要 如果宾语从句所陈述的是客观真理、自然想象或习惯性动作等,其时态常用一般现在时。态 情态动词could,would用于“请求”,表示“委婉、客气”的语气时,其后面跟的宾语从句中的谓语动词的时态不受主句时态的限制,可根据具体情况选用各种合适的时态。素 if /when引导条件状语从句和宾语从句这两种从句,从句时态的确定。 如果,假如 (引导条件状语从句,当主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时,即:主将从现)if 是否 (引导宾语从句,时态应根据宾语从句的时态对应原则) 当的时候 (引导时间状语从句,当主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时即:主将从现)when 什么时候 (引导宾语从句,时态应根据宾语从句的时态对应原则)二、分析下列句子是简单句、并列句还是复合句。1. I remember what I did with the tickets.划分句子的标准:句子原则句子原则1:一个句子只能有一个谓语,谓语由动词构成。句子原则2:如果一个句子有多个动词,只有一个是谓语动词,其它为非谓语动词。句子原则3:如果一个句子有多个谓语,那么这个句子可能是并列句或者是复合句。如果有并列连词就是并列句;如果没有并列连词那就是复合句。定语从句Step 1 定语从句概述1. 概念:定语从句:在复合句中修饰名词或代词 的句子在复合句中充当定语,所以叫作定语从句。先行词: 定语从句所修饰的名词或代词。从句的位置:在名词或代词后引导词: 关系代词that which who whom whose 关系副词where when why(注意what不能引导定语从句)2.构成:定语从句必须包含先行词和关系词两个部分。例如:I like music that I can sing along with. 先行词 连接词 定语从句 The man who/that came first is Mike. 连接词 定语从句定语从句的位置: 主句 + 连接词 + 定语从句 定语从句插入主句中间,插在主句的主语和谓语中间指出下列定语从句的位置This is the gentleman who helped me out of the trouble.The building which stands near the river is our school.Do you know the boy whose bicycle was broken just now?3. 关系代词的作用: a. 做连词,把主句和从句连接起来 b. 做代词,代替先行词 c. 在从句中担任句子成分:主语、宾语、定语或状语4.定语从句的分类(1)限定性定语从句:与先行词关系密切,如果没有定语从句,主句含混不清,不完整,限定性定语从句与先行词之间无逗号。(2)非限定性定语从句:是先行词的一个附加语,对先行词起进一步说明作用,如果删掉它,主句的意义仍然是完整的,非限定性定语从句与先行词之间有逗号。 如:The man who/that came first is Mike.Ill never forget the day when we first met each other.His mother does morning exercises every day , which is good for her health.Step 2 关系代词的用法1. that 既可以用于指人,也可以用于指物。在从句中作主语或宾语,作主语时不可省略,作宾语可省略。例如:Mary likes music that is quiet and gentle. (that作主语)玛丽喜欢轻柔的音乐。我们可以这样理解这句话:Mary likes music. Music is quiet and gentle. 主句 music出现了两次,并且在另外一个句子中充当主语再如:The coat (that) I put on the desk is blue. (that作宾语)我放在桌子上的那件外套是蓝色的。我们可以这样理解这句话:The coat is blue. I put the coat on the desk. 主句 the coat出现了两次,并且在另外一个句子中充当宾语2. which用于指物,在句中作主语或宾语,作主语不可省略,作宾语可省略。如:The building which stands near the train station is a supermarket. (作主语)位于火车站附近的那座大楼是一家超市。我们可以这样理解这句话:The building is a supermarket. The building stands near the train station. 主句 the building出现2次并且在次句中做主语再如:The film (which) we saw last night was wonderful. (作宾语)我们昨天晚上看的那部电影很好看。我们可以这样理解这句话: The film was wonderful. We saw the film last night. 主句 the film出现2次并且在次句中做宾语3.who, whom用于指人,who 用作主语,whom用作宾语。在口语中,有时可用who代替whom,也可省略。如:The girl who often helps me with my English is from England. (作主语)经常在英语方面帮助我的那个女孩是英国人。我们可以这样理解这句话: The girl is from England. The girl often helps me with my English. 主句 the girl出现2次并且在次句中做主语再如:Who is the teacher (whom) Li Ming is talking to?(作宾语)正在与李明谈话的老师是谁?我们可以这样理解这句话: Who is the teacher? Li Ming is talking to the teacher.主句 the teacher出现2次并且在次句中做宾语4.关系代词whose表示“的”,是关系代词who、which的所有格,因此既可指人,也可指物。在从句中,whose作定语修饰名词,被修饰词可以是从句的主语、宾语或介词宾语。如: He is the boy whose pen I borrowed yesterday. 先行词 指人whose=the boys They cleaned the house whose windows face south. 先行词 指物whose=the houses They went back to help the man whose car broke down.先行词 指人whose=the mans 总结:关系代词就是先行词的替身关系代词 = 先行词,whose除外 如果先行词是指人,引导词可以用_ _ _如果先行词是指物,引导词可以用_ _ _关系词先行词所指关系词在句中作用关系代词that人/物主语、宾语which物主语、宾语who人主语whom人宾语whose人/物定语 解题步骤:第一:先找出先行词;第二:判断先行词是指人还是指物,锁定备选引导词;第三:作句子分析。把先行词重新放入定语从句中,观察先行词在从句中担任什么成分;第四:确定引导词。【满分演练】- 单项填空( )1.- Who is the man _ was talking to our English teacher? - Oh! A. in which B. that C. whose D. where Step 3 that/which 在定语从句中的区别当先行词指物时只能用that而不能用which的几种常见情况:a. 先行词被序数词或形容词最高级所修饰,或本身是序数词、基数词、形容词最高级时,只能用 that,而不用 which。如:He was the first person that passed the exam. 他是第一个通过考试的人。 This is the most interesting film that was shown last week. 这是上周所放映的影片中最有趣的一部。b. 先行词是everything,anything等不定代词或是all, much,few, little以及被修饰的先行词为 all,any,much,many,everything,anything,none,the one 等不定代词时,只能用 that,而不用 which。如: Is there anything that you want to buy in the shop? 你在商店里有什么东西要买吗? There is nothing that can stop him from doing it. 没有什么能阻止他做这件事。Everything that can be done has been done.There are few books we can read.c. 先行词被 the only,the next the very,the same,the last,little,few 等词修饰时,只能用 that,而不用 which。如: This is the same bike that I lost. 这就是我丢的那辆自行车。 The only thing that they can do is to wait. 他们唯一能做的事就是等待。This is the very pen (that) you bought yesterday. 这正是你昨天买的笔。d. 先行词里同时含有人或物时,只能用 that,而不用 which。如: I can remember well the persons and some pictures that I saw in the room.我能清楚记得我在那个房间所见到的人和一些照片。Sally is talking about the writer and his book that interests her. 萨丽在谈论这位作家及能使她感兴趣的这位作家的书。e. 以 who 或 which 引导的特殊疑问句,为避免重复,只能用 that。如: Who is the girl that is crying? 正在哭泣的那个女孩是谁?f. 主句是 there be 结构,修饰主语的定语从句用 that,而不用 which。如: There is a book on the desk that belongs to Tom. 桌子上那本书是汤姆的。当先行词指物时,只能用which而不能用that的场合a. 先行词为 that,those 时,用which,而不用that。如: Whats that which is under the desk? 在桌子底下的那些东西是什么?b. 关系代词前有介词时,一般用 which,而不用 that。如: This is the room in which he lives. 这是他居住的房间。c. 在非限定性定语从句(即通常用逗号与主句隔开,如果去掉逗号,整个句子仍能表达完整的意义的定语从句)中,用 which,而不用 that。如: Tom came back,which made us happy. 汤姆回来了,这使我们很高兴。They are talking about the TV play, which they saw last night. 他们正在谈论昨晚看的电视剧。 课后作业 - 2011年全国各地中考英语单项选择题分类汇总:定语从句( )1.
