Section C.”选材出自仁爱版初三（上） Unit 5 Learning about China。属说明性文体。介绍了中国香港、澳门、台湾三个地方的基本情况。包括它们的地理知识以及不同风格的民居，笔者根据自己对教材的理解，紧扣单元主题，设计了复习、呈现、巩固、练习、综合探究活动五个教学环节，提高学生的阅读理解能力以及口头和书面表达能力。二、教学课型阅读课三、教学目的（一）语言知识目标初步掌握课文中描写香港、澳门、台湾三个地方的词汇，继续学习用that和which引导的定语从句，为下一节课加强语法学习积累知识，能运用所学过的词汇要求班上同学写一篇关于中国其它地方的短文。（二）能力目标1提高运用阅读策略预测课文内容和获取课文主要信息的能力；2通过听、阅读等阅读策略以及讨论活动提高记和读的能力。（三）情感目标了解更多中国的地理知识香港、澳门、台湾和不同风格的民居，继续培养学生的爱国主义情感。四、教学重点的难点1继续学习用that和which引导的定语从句。(1) There are three beautiful places which shouldnt be missed by visitors to China.(2) It serves as a bridge which connects the mainland with the rest of the world.2提高学生的阅读和写作能力五、教学思路本节课是阅读课，旨在培养学生的阅读能力，兼顾听、说、写的能力。笔者拟引导学生运用本课所学的语言知识，让学生加深对文章主题的理解，同时，对学生进行爱国主义教育，使他们更多了解中国的地理知识。为了激发学生的阅读兴趣，顺利理解所学内容，笔者首先使用多媒体导入文章的主题，根据“四位一体”阅读法预测课文内容，寻找段落主题句，综合阅读理解及小组讨论等活动。旨在培养学生搜寻信息的能力、听力理解能力、口头表达能力及总结概括能力等。教学过程Step 1Review1. Let students talk about Tibet and West Lake with the given words, using attributive clauses as many as possible.
