Unit 12 I came by plane山口铺中心小学 廖艳淑教学目标语言功能谈论交通工具及方式。语言结构How did you come here?I came by plane/ train / I came in a big vehicle.词汇掌握词汇:camp, taxi, subway, on foot理解词汇:poor, vehicle, pay, horn, wriggle, engine语法介词by的用法。Period 1一、 教学目标1. 能掌握新单词及词组camp, taxi, subway, on foot; 能理解新单词poor;2. 能听懂、会说本课对话;3. 能运用“How did you come here?”“I came by ”进行问答、交际。二、教学重点及难点重点:掌握新单词。难点:听懂、会说本课对话。三、教学准备学生自备交通工具图片、单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等。四、教学步骤Step 1 Warming up 1 Greeting.2 Free talk, review the words on vehicles.将交通工具图片ship, car, plane, bicycle, bus, train, taxi, van, subway贴在黑板上。T: Look! What a busy traffic! Whats the name of the vehicle?Ss: Its a van.T: And this?Ss: Its a car.T: How do you go to school every day?S1: I go to school by taxi.S2: I go to school by bicycle.S3: I go to school by bus.Step 2 Presentation and drill1. 在黑板上标出home, school。T:This is my home. This is our school.将图片bicycle从home 移到school。T:How did I come here? I came here by bicycle. How did you come here today?S: I came here by 将图片bicycle换成图片on foot。T:How did I go home?S: You walked home.T: Yes, I went home on foot.板书并教学词组on foot.2. 用同样的方法教学单词a taxi和a subway。3. 听课文B部分录音,跟读。学生出示各自的交通工具图片,充当“小司机”。T:Now,lets go to Shanghai. OK. Here we are. How did you come here?S1: I came here by train.S2: I came here by plane.S3: Step 3 Practice1. 带着下列问题听课文A部分录音。How did Peter/ Lingling/ Anne/ Jane/ the boy come to the summer camp?2. 回答问题。3. 听A部分录音,跟读。4. 分组练读。5. 分角色表演。Step 4 Consolidation Game:Guess,guess, guess!T: Where did you go before?S1: I went to Shanghai last year.T: How did you go there?S1: Guess, please.S2: Did you go there by bus?S3: Did you go there by train?S4: 让学生四人一组进行游戏。1. 评价。对学生的表现进行评价,给予肯定和鼓励,激发学生说英语的欲望。2. 练习。(见练习册)3. 家庭作业。听磁带,背课文,抄单词。Period 2一、教学目标1. 能理解单词vehicle,wheel,pay的含义,并完成课文C部分练习;2. 能谈论交通工具及方式,并自编谜语。二、教学重点及难点重点:理解课文C部分谜语。难点:仿照谜语描述交通工具。三、教学准备交通工具图片。四、教学步骤Step 1 Warming up1.
