Thats all that I know . There is something that I want to buy buy in the shop .2) 先行词被序数词,形容词最高级。the last ,the only 等修饰时,关系代词只能用 that .That is the only thing _ we can do now . Next month , when ( )youll spend your summer holidays in your hometown , is approaching . 2. 关系副词 where 引导定语从句( 可用在限定性和非限定性定语从句)修饰表地点的先行词,在定语从句中充当地点状语。 e.g. This is the office where he worked .( where 指 )She is going to live in Marcow , where ( 指 ) she has some close friends . 3. 关系副词 why 只引导限定性定语从句,修饰 先行词reason , 在定语从句中充当原因状语。 e.g. That is the reason why I dont want to go . _ He didnt tell me the reason why he was so sad . _小练:1)I walked in our garden ,_ Tom and Jim were trying a big sign onto one of the trees . The woman to whom I was speaking was a famous writer . 或The woman whom / who I was speaking to was a famous writer . He found a box in which there was a nice shirt .有时定语从句前的介词是复合介词短语,如:in front of ,some of , none of , both of + whom/ which , 这是常用逗号把主句和定语从句分开。e.g. There are many books on the desk , some of which are on music . Jack has three brothers , all of whom are married .
