Can you tell me the way to -?2、难点；北京的名胜古迹读法和写法问路和指路的准确表达四、教学步骤：1、Lead-in Listen to the music and enjoy a picture of a town .Then give a map of our town. Ask : Do you like our town ?2、Show the pictures of some words. Ask: Is there a bank in our town ?Show the pictures:Eg. bank, supermarket, swimming pool ,market ,restaurant, park ,bookshop.Then read these words together.让学生回顾以前学过的单词，重在记住这些单词Listen to the tape and finish Activity 1. Then check the answers.边听边搭配图与单词3、Learn some prep of directionShow the pictures and readEg, on the right , on the left, next to, between ,on the corner of ,opposite ,in front of, behindPlay a gamePractice “right and left”我说英文，让学生做动作并讲出词组，以活跃气氛Do some exercises on Page 71 Activity 11.Then check the answers. 做这个练习以巩固刚学的方位介词4、Learn how to tell positions.Look at a map , then ask and answer.Eg, Is there a bank ?Yes , there is .Where is the bank ?It is next to the supermarket.Work in pairs and practice the dialogue. 练习这个对话，可以练介词，也可以为下面做铺垫5、Learn some places of interest in Beijing.Show the pictures and read.Eg, Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, the Museums, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, ect.因为这些词是这个单元的难点，很难读，所以边学边多读Do a match game 把名胜古迹的英文与中文连线，以加深印象Look at the pictures in the map the finish Activity 4 我把第四部分与对话分开，就让学生看图讲出地名，并找出它的英文，以让学生熟练掌握6、Ask and answer about the map.For example: Where is the Tiananmen Square ?It is opposite the Forbidden City.Then work in pairs and practice the dialogue用上名胜古迹让学生重新操练方位介词7、Listen and readListen to the tape of the dialogue then answer the questionListen again, do TF exerciseUnderline the phrases and read特别重视指路的句子和短语Finish Activity5Follow the tape and read the dialogue together整个环节重在让学生熟练对话的内容和重点词汇、语句.8、PairworkWork in pairs and act it out in roles.
