Warming-up 1. Enjoy the pictures about some lovely animals.2. Show one part of video about the harmony between animals and human.3. Enjoy some pictures about some endangered animals and listen to their voice.【设计意图】通过可爱动物图片和其与人和谐相处的视频,培养学生热爱动物的同时激发学生的阅读兴趣。并和之后动物的悲惨遭遇的图片形成强烈的对比,让学生引发思考。Step 2. Reading2.1 Fasting reading1. It mainly deals with the grammar: the present continuous passive voice. Students can compare and discover the structure and usages of the the present continuous passive voice.教学目标【知识目标】Get students to know and learn the structure of the present continuous passive voice.【能力目标】Enable students to use the present continuous passive voice correctly and properly.【情感目标】1. Get students to become interested in grammar learning.2. Develop students sense of protecting wildlife.教学重难点【教学重点】Get students to master the structures and usages of the present continuous passive voice.【教学难点】Enable students to master the structure and usages of the present continuous passive voice.课前准备Multimedia教学过程Step 1. Inquiry Learning(探究性学习)1. Discovering and distinguishing grammar structure.1) Read the small passage about protecting wildlife and ask students to pay attention to the red words Luckily , now some endangered wildlife is being protected by WWF. In the Nature Reserve, the elephants are being taken photos of;the giraffes are being studied by scientists;and the monkey is being protected from mosquitoes.2) Talk about the three pictures about panda using“is/are being done”3) Try to find as many “is/are being done” as possible from the text on page26. 【设计意图】这一环节的目的是让学生在保护野生动植物的语篇中感知现在进行时被动语态结构,通过图片的形式真实应用所感受的结构,并重新回归课本,唤起学生对原有知识的记忆,一方面激发了学生的思维:在旧的语境中深化对现在进行时被动语态的理解;另一方面,和本单元话题紧密结合,让学生更自然的过渡。2. Compare and sum upThe mother is taking good care of his boy.The boy is being taken good care of by his mother.Tourists are taking photos of the tiger.The tiger is being taken photos of by tourists三变”: 主语变_, 宾语变_, _由主动变为被动。“三不变”: 原句意思不变, 原句时态不变, 原句主谓宾以外成分不变。肯定句: am / is / arebeing过去分词e.g. The books are being taken away.否定句: _e.g. The books arent being taken away.一般疑问句式: _e.g. Are the books being taken away?特殊疑问句式: _e.g. Where are the books being taken away?【设计意图】通过让学生自我观察、比较、总结的方法,让学生完成对语法项目形式和结构变化的探究学习。同时提高学生自主学习、合作探究的能力。Step 2. Practice1. Picture talkTalk about the picture using has/have been done【设计思路】形式上理解了现在进行时被动语态的结构和变化规则后,应该进入操练阶段。从基础的变化规则,到谈论和本单元有关的动物危险的图片,这些练习的设置难度一方面由易而难,符合学生接受水平,另一方面话题丰富,在学生感兴趣的表达中提升了学生的语法应用能力和学习语法的兴趣。Step 3. Basic rules基本用法1 表示说话时正在进行的被动动作。e.g. Look! The kids are being taken care of by the mother tiger. The project is being discussed at the meeting right now. Whats the matter?My car is being repaired now. Wild animals _ _ _.基本用法2 表示目前这段时间正在进行,但此时此刻不一定在进行的被动动作。e.g. A modern school is being built in my hometown. Many interesting experiments are being carried out these days. The disease _ _ _at present by scientist.The life of the panda _ _ _at present . 现在正在研究熊猫的生活环境。温馨提示一: 表示一种经常的被动行为,常常与always, constantly等副词连用,往往带有夸奖、羡慕、埋怨、讨厌等感情色彩。温馨提示二:be + under / in/on + n. 可代替进行时被动语态温馨提示三:一些表示情况,状态或者存在的动词sell, become, wear, wash, happen, succeed, take place, take part in, disappear等没有现在进行时的被动语态。温馨提示四:有些动词进行时的主动形式就可以表示被动的意思,常见的这些动词有: print, cook, fry, bake, burn, hang.温馨提示五:有些表 “ 状态, 心理活动, 情感”等的动词,常用一般现在时的被动语态表示 “正在进行”。【设计意图】对于现在进行时被动语态的基本点不属于本课重点,就以直接呈现的形式复习了现在进行时的意义;考虑到现在进行时被动语态的特殊情况的难度系数,温馨提示让学生在最短时间内巩固对现在进行时被动语态难点的学习,并以举例的形式达到对难点的理解。Step 4. Integrating skills1. News report about one pictureOur government is making a project to encourage more birds to come to our town to spend the cold winter. Please describe it using “The Present Continuous Passive Voice”.2. Talk about the plans of our school by filling the blanks using the right forms of words.Welcome to our school.
