New target language: Dont eat in class!Can we wear hats? No, we cant.We dont have to wear a school uniform教学重难点: 祈使句 情态动词 can 表示许可的用法。教学步骤:一、进入新课阶段:1. Greet with the students by using T: Do you like our school ?S: Yes, we do .T: Do you enjoy ourselves in our school?S: Yes, we do2Show the students a picture and revise “What is he/she doing?” by asking questions.T: Look at this girl. What is she doing?S: She is eating an apple.T: Can we eat an apple in class?S: No, we cant.T: So what should we say to the girl.T: We should say to the girl :“Dont eat apples in class.”Then point out the other students in the picture and say, each of these students is breaking one of the school rules. So what should we say to them?二、自主学习阶段 1、point out the other students in the picture and say, each of these students is breaking one of the school rules. So what should we say to them?根据这样的对话,把图片中其他学生不应该在课堂上出现的行为一一列出来, 并且用祈使句的句型排列在黑板上:Dont arrive late for class.Dont run in the hallways.Dont listen to music in the classroom.Dont fight.2. Play the recording, ask the students to put a checkmark next to the activities they are talking about.4. Play the recording again. Point out the list of can and cant in the chart in activity 2a. Students listen and circle the answers.5. Ask the students think about the school rules in the form, what we can do or what we cant do in our school. Then discuss the answers with their partners in groups.这是一个巩固性的活动,要求学生能运用目标语言进行真实的交际。各小组根据自己所获得的信息,分析同样的校规在不同的国家和学校的不同之处,然后充分运用所学语言,向全班作汇报。三、释疑解惑阶段:. 情态动词have to 的用法,意思是必须、不得不,它侧重于客观上的必要和外界的权威。(1)结构:主语have to动词原形其他(一般现在时,主语是第三人称单数时,用has to;句子是过去时,用had to.)如:We have to wear sneakers for gym class. 在体育课上,我们必须穿运动鞋。Tom has to practice the guitar every day. 汤姆每天必须练习弹吉它。I had to get up at 5:00 am last Monday. 上周一,我不得不早上5点起床。(2)否定形式:主语dont have to动词原形其他(一般现在时,主语是第三人称单数时,用doesnt have to. 句子是过去时,用didnt have to)如:Nick doesnt have to wear a uniform. 尼克不必穿制服。We didnt have to do our homework at once. 我们不必马上完成作业。(3)疑问句:Do (Does或Did)主语have to 动词原形其他如:Do you have to stay at home on weekends? 周末你必须呆在家里吗?Yes, I do. / No, I dont.是的,我必须。不,我不必。Did he have to go to bed by 11:00 last night? 昨晚,他不得不11点前上床睡觉吗?2. (用in the classroom 改为选择疑问句) _ we listen to music in music room _ in the classroom?教后反思:本单元的教学内容较多,而且非常生活化,所以针对不同的内容设计了不同的任务活动。通过课堂的试验,证实了这些任务的可行性,并达到了意想不到的效果。在导入新知识时,通过复习旧的句型很自然、顺利的
