1 TEM4 作文写作技巧初探作文写作技巧初探 摘摘 要 要 本研究旨在通过对近十年来的 TEM4 作文进行分析与归类 提出解决 TEM4 作文写作的对策 希望以此使学生在写作过程中能更好地把握其全过程 而不至于大量失分 或是离题 全文把近十年来的作文试题分成四类 并分别 提出了相应的写作技巧 以供英语专业教师和学生参考应用 关键词 关键词 TEM4 题型 利与弊 分类 Abstract Through analysis and sorting out the composition writing on TEM4 in the recent decade this research aims at proposing countermeasure of writing to solve the writing problem to make students hold the whole course of writing better in the course of writing unlikely lose marks or digress from the subject The full text divides the composition writing question over the past more than ten years into four kinds and puts forward the corresponding writing method respectively for teacher and students to reference and application Keywords TEM4 Topic Type Pros and Cons Category 一 引言一 引言 在英语专业的第四学期 每年都会举行一次 TEM4 测试 测试共有六个部 分 听写 听力理解 完型填空 语法与词汇 阅读理解 写作 整个考试需 时 130 分钟 其中写作有两部分 作文与便条 作文为 15 分 便条为 10 分 写作部分的分数从 2005 年开始由原来的 20 分改为 25 分 作文的字数也由原来 的 150 字调到 200 字 但写作总时间不变 为 45 分钟 其中作文为 35 分钟 便条为 10 分种 另外的变动是将写作部分为第一题转放为最后一题 这有利 于学生最大限度地发挥 本来写作就是学生的难点 在时间不变的情况下增加 字数就加大了测试的难度 如何解决这一写作难题呢 现通过对近十年来的 TEM4 作文进行分析 提出一些写作对策 希望对英语专业教师及学生提供一 定的指导 在进入正文之前 我们先来看看往年的作文试题形式 现以 2005 年 的 TEM4 为例 摘自 2005 年的 TEM4 试卷 TEST FOR ENGLISH MAJORS 2005 GRADE FOUR PART VI WRITING 45MIN SECTION A COMPOSITION 35MIN The Students Union of your university is planning to hold an arts festival next semester and they are inviting 就是如此 有人支持 也有人反对 只要自持观点并以论据论证就行 类比对比型是比较 两个对象 一般来说只需比较两者 这种题目要用比较法 比较法分为类比与 对比 如果讨论的是其不同点 就可以运用对比法 对比法有整体对比和交替 对比两种 整体对比法指在阐述完一个对象的特点之后 再摆出与之相比的另 一个对象的全部特点 交替对比法指逐条比较或对比两个对象的特点 丁往道 2003 92 如 1995 Extracurricular Activities 2001 年的题目 Travel Broadens the Mind 和 2003 年的题目 The Importance of Keeping a Good Mood 就属于此类 最后一种题型为自由发挥型 其在提出一个话题之后 可 能会提供一些大家对此话题的观点和看法 要求考生通过利用已给定的材料做 出自己的分析 然后发挥自己的想象力 support50 50Partially opposeOppose 显然 百分之百地支持或反对是把问题看得过于简单 甚至有点幼稚 所 以我们不选择观点 I 或者观点 V 而观点 III 只表明学生对此题目作了分析 却 没有他自己对此题目的独立想法和观点 所以观点 III 也是不可取的 因此只 能选择观点 II 和观点 IV 记住做好正反两方面的分类列举是第一步 如果不 这样做
