Section B (1a1d) 内蒙古乌海市第九中学 李亚楠一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词和短语:gold, emperor, underwear, silk, stupid, cheat2) 能掌握以下句型:keep sth fo oneself/ keep sth to oneself2. 情感态度价值观目标: 多阅读中外传统文学名著,让学生们明白中国传统文化的博大、精深,并吸取中国传统文化中的精华。爱上童话故事,了解外国的文化,开阔自己眼界。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 3)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。2. 教学难点1. 听力训练2. 根据图片复述故事内容。三、教学过程Step 1 GreetingStep 2 Warm up 1. Let some Ss talk something about Chinese traditional stories. 2. Let the students talk about some fairy tale stories from Europe such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood.(通过复习已经学过的童话故事,引出本课要学习的新故事)Step 3 Pr-listening 1. Look at a picture and guess the name of the story-The Emperors New Clothes.2. Learn the new words by asking some questions.Who is the main character in the story? -emperorWhat is the crown made of?-goldWhat is he wearing?-underwear3.Read the new words together and one by one.4.Look at the screen and check their memory.5.Finish 1a on your books and let some Ss tell their answers. Then check together.Step 3 While-listening 1. T: Show one video of the story The Emperors New Clothes. 播放皇帝的新装视频,激发学生对以下要学习内容的兴趣。 Ask some questions about it. What was the emperors hobby? Can you guess what happened next?2.Work on 1b: Tell Ss to look at the pictures in 1c. Tell them these are the pictures from the story: The Emperors New Clothes. Listen to the tapes and number the pictures. Play the recording for the Ss. And then check the answers: 3.Work on 1c: Let Ss read the sentences in 1c first. Tell Ss to listen again and fill in the blanks with the right words. Check the answers with the class. Let the students read the conversation after the tape.Then get class read it after the teacher.(此环节的设计目的是为了让学生在听力方面能得到充分的操练,也可以训练他们说英语的能力,为复述课文做好铺垫。) Step 5 Post-Listening 1.Telling the story Work in pairss. Tell the story of The Emperors New Clothes. Use the information in 1c and 1d. Let some groups tell the story to the class. 运用听力与口语练习进行巩固,以便熟练掌握动词的正确形式。2. Practice:self-check 2Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in bracketsStep6 Role- play Work in group 4 or 5, role play this story by using the play. Student 1 is the emperor.
