Unit Four My home (Part B & Lets Learn)I. Teaching Aims: a. Knowledge aims: 1. The students can understand and say the new words: bed, sofa, phone, table, fridge; 2. The students can use the key sentence patterns, right and fluently: Where are the . Theyre . b. Ability aims: 1.To develop the students abilities of listening, speaking and so on; 2. To develop the students abilities of communication by learning the useful words and strcuctures c. Emotional aims: The students have the awareness of the importance of home.II. Key points and difficulties: Key points: To enable students to understand and say the new words and structures fluently; Difficulities: To enable students to use the useful structures to describle their dream houses.III. Teaching method: 1. TPR: Total Physical Response2. CLT: Communicative Language Teaching3. Audio- visual ApproachIV. Teaching aids: Flash cards, CAI , papers, etc.V. Teaching procedures:VI. Blackboard design:VII. Reflection:Teaching procedures:I. Warm-up1. Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls2. Sing a song: My Home3. Group the students: Today well have three groups. If you can answer my questions correctly and actively, Ill give you one apple. Are you clear? Boys and girls, come on!II. Presention and practice1. Teacher shows a picture of his/ her living room and asks students to guess where it is?(设计意图:教师通过呈现自己家客厅的图片,不仅为接下来的学习提供了真实的语言环境,也起到了铺垫的作用,同时引起了学生的好奇心,活跃了课堂氛围。)2. Teacher plays the ring of a phone and spells the word “phone” with students together.3. Teacher tells students a riddle and shows different types of fridges.4. Teach other words this way.
