As soon as you wake up,you must go to the forest with your father. Dont eat it until you get to the forest.2. 能力目标: Learn to find out the text type and enable students to understand. To develop their reading skills such as skimming, scanning, summarizing. Learn to find out the key words and the main ideas of each scene.3. 情感态度价值观目标:Teach students to be calm and dont be panic when they meet any difficulties and also should try their best to get over them.二、学情分析 Students have learned English for at least more than 2 years,and they have already learnde words of this part.Besides,from this unit ,they have known some traditional Chinese stories and Western fairy tales,so it is not difficult for them to understand this fairy tale,and even some of them have read the Chinese version of this story.So,they may have been already familiar with it.三、重点难点 1) New words and expressions.2) To improve the students reading skills.四、教学思路 本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第六单元的长篇阅读部分。本节课的主要内容是阅读教学,它不仅包括语言知识的学习,还有阅读能力的提高,同时它还承载着培养正确的情感态度、价值观等深层意义。首先通过对童话定义的提问,引入人人都知道的童话故事,激发学生的思维,用问题引起学生的阅读欲望,再让学生了解本节课的阅读策略,并在阅读中运用,最后通过问题检验学生对文章的理解。五、教学过程 Teaching stepsTeaching processStudents activitiesAimsTimeStep 1Warmingup and Lead inThe teacher ask some questions about fairy tales and then lead to todays topic Hansel and Gretel. Next,guide students to tell what kind of text type is it.Say some names of fairy tales according to pictures,and judge the text type.To create an English environment and lead to the topic.2minsStep 2PresentationLet students read the first paragraph together and then teacher help to understand it clearly. Then let students answer some questions about the first paragraph and say how the fairy tale will continue.Read the first paragraph together and present their opinions about how will the fairy tale continue.To guide students understand the first paragraph and learn to make prediction.6minsStep 3Fast readingAsk students to read the seven scenes and match each scene with each description in only 1 minute. And divide the scenes into parts ,also they should tell why.Read each scene to catch the main idea ,and them do the match and parts divide work.To enable students to learn the reading skill fast reading,and catch the main idea in reading.5minsStep 4Careful readingLet students read each part very carefully and then do some exercises part by part. At the same time ,teacher can offer some help to enable them understand the play clearly and deeply.Read and do some corresponding work carefully.To enable students to learn how to get some details while reading,and use those details to answer questions,and by the way,understand the whole play deeply.9minsStep 5DiscussingGuide the students to think about and discuss What the characters personalities are and what can we get from this fairy tale.Think and discuss the different personalities and what can they learn from this fairy tale. And then give some words to describe the characters.To teach students to analysis the characters personalities and know what should we do when facing difficulties.6minsStep 6After-readingAsk students to complete the summary of the play, and invite one student to retell the story.Complete the summary of the play together and try to retell this story.To memorize what they have learned this class and learn how to retell a story.2minsStep 7Role-playAsk students to act the play in groups of six, and invite two groups to act out in front of the classroom.Act out the play .To consolidate what they have learned this class and learn to be active.6minsStep 8Summar
