Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. 教学设计Section A 1 (1a-2c)一、教学目标: 1. 知识与技能目标:(1) 能掌握以下单词:shoot,stone, weak, god, (2) 能够用英语讲愚公移山的故事,培养学生的听说能力。2. 过程与方法: 采用任务型教学,让学生在听说操练的过程中学会用英语讲故事。3. 情感态度价值观目标: 通过讲述中国古代的神话故事,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。同时感受故事中主人公坚忍不拔的精神。二、教学重难点:1. 教学重点:学会通过图片和相关词汇谈论中国古代的神话故事愚公移山。2. 教学难点:怎样用英语讲述中国古代的神话故事。三教学工具:多媒体课件【课前准备】关于故事,传说的若干要素:时间,地点,人物,起因,经过和结果。这些要素都可以通过who,what,when,where,why,how等疑问词来引出。例如:1.Whenandwheredidthestoryhappen?(时间和地点)2.Whoisthemaincharacter?(人物)3.Howdoesthestorybegin?(起因)4.Whathappened?Whydidthathappen?(经过)5.Whatistheendofthestory?(结果)故事开头的集中描述:onceuponatime,longlongago,oneday故事结尾:概括主要内容,阐述道理,感受,评价注意故事名,书名的书写规范书名,故事名,寓言名等,单词首字母要大写;名称中有介词,虚词,冠词无需大写;印刷体中名称要斜体。【自主学习】1.你知道这些故事吗?请将它们的中英文名字连线。Journey to the WestHou Yi Shoots the SunsYu Gong Moves a Mountain Nu Wa Repairs the SkyChange Flies to the MoonPan Gu Separates the Sky From the EarthMagic Brush Ma LiangJing Wei fills the Sea Kua Fu Runs after theSun 愚公移山后羿射日西游记女娲补天精卫填海盘古开天辟地夸父追日嫦娥奔月神笔马良2请查出并牢记下面听力文章中出现的单词,为听力扫除障碍:shoot,earth,stone,weak,god。(设计说明:课前让学生了解一些故事的要素,为本节课学习讲故事提供一个背景知识。设计的两个自学任务目的一是通过给故事的中英文名字配对激发学生的兴趣,同时让他们了解即将学习的内容会与故事有关。二是为听力扫清单词障碍。)【课堂探究】Step 1 导入1. Do you know some famous stories? Whats your favorite story? Do you know these stories?Lets enjoy the stories. (播放课文中四个故事的视频)(设计说明:动画视频导入,课堂一开始吸引学生的注意力,激发学习兴趣,同时迅速导入学习内容。)Step 2 释疑1. 1a Show the four pictures and learn the names of the stories.Today were going to learn the last story.Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. (板书课题)2. Talk something about the story.You know the story very well. You learned it in Chinese class. Ill ask you some questions about the story.When did the story happen? Where did the story happen? Who did the story talk about? What did he want to do? Why did he want to move the mountains? How did he move the mountains? When we tell a story,we should talk about the six parts.How did the story begin? Lets listen and learn.(设计说明:对于愚公移山这个故事,学生学过,已经很熟悉了。但是怎么样用英语讲出来,还不一定会说。导入课题后,让学生带着这几个问题,有目的地去学习,通过参与课堂活动,合作探究,去获取答案。学生在参与的过程中,学会合作学习,学会自我探究解答疑惑,逐渐树立学习英语的信心。)3. 1b Listen and check the facts you hear. Fill in the blanks.(设计说明:这部分是个听力练习,我设计成“洗耳运动”。通过新颖的名字激发学习兴趣。听力材料稍微做了修改,只截取了讲故事的那一部分。通过两个听力活动,让学生获取故事中的主要信息。然后再让学生朗读听力材料,并完成根据听力材料改编的填空习题。把听的声音信息转化成能看能读的文字信息,为下面讲故事的环节打基础。)Step 3 Exercise1. Look at the pictures and tell the story ( T &Ss do together).Show each picture and say something about it. Pairwork: Talk about each picture with your partner.3. Ask several students to say something about each picture.(运用白板聚光灯)4. Number the pictures. (请生上前指图排序)(设计说明:这部分是口头练习讲故事,我设计成“看图说话”。看图片,老师先给学生示范怎么讲故事,边讲边板书关键词。接下来先让学生在小组内轮流讲,然后打乱图片顺序,通过电子白板的聚光灯功能把学生的注意力集中到某一幅图上,要求学生说说这幅图谈论的什么。最后让学生将这些图片排列成正确的顺序。通过参与这些活动,学生学习怎么讲这个故事,把学到的知识通过说转化成自己的知识。在小组合作中,在集体探讨中,来巩固所学知识。)Step 4 Competition: Tell the story1. Divide the whole class into two groupsboys and girls.2. Let students discuss in groups first. 3. Then ask boys and girls to tell the story one by one. Girls first. Then boys say the next sentence. If girls can say the sentence, they can get a flag. If they cant say the sentence in three seconds, boys get the flag. Then boys first. Lets see which group is better. Who is the winner?(设计说明:通过男女生合作来比赛讲故事的活动,在培养学生口头表达能力的同时,还能使学生学会合作学习,增强合作意识。并以竞赛的形式来调动学生的积极性。)Step 5 Discussion1. What do you think of Yu Gong?2. What can you learn from him?(设计说明:这部分通过简单谈论对愚公的看法,让学生在情感上得到升华,教育学生学习愚公坚忍不拔的精神。)Step 6 HomeworkTell the story Yu Gong Moves a Mountain to your friends. And find the important phrases in the story.(设计说明:口头作业学生课后也能复习巩固所学内容;让学生自己去积累故事中的重要短语,学会自己积累知识,养成良好的学习习惯。
