Good morning, ladies and gentlemen: Today, Im very glad to have this opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is taken from Renai Project English Book7 Unit2 Topic2 What color is his hair? Section A. Ill prepare to say this lesson from five parts. Theyre Teaching material, Teaching aims, Teaching methods, Teaching process and Blackboard design.Part I Say the Teaching material This is an important section in this topic. Its mainly about how to use color to describe peoples appearance. Such a section is related to students everyday life. So its very helpful to arouse their learning interest and improve their thought and motion education. Whats more, all the main sentence patterns appear for the first time, such as “What does he/she look like? What color is his/her hair?” They play bedding role for the later studying. By studying this section, it can develop students listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, these are the basic requirements of quality education. Thats why I choose this topic.Part II Say the Teaching aimsThe purpose of English teaching is to arouse and train students learning interest , help students to set up self-confidence and form a good learning habit; Make students master basic language skills to communicate with each other and express their own thoughts in English. So I established three teaching aims for this lesson: First, Knowledge objectsAs we know, the number of words and sentences we have is the basic of learning English. Therefore I ask students not only to master useful words and sentences but also to maser important grammars. Second, Ability objectsLearn to use color to describe peoples appearance. By asking and answering, train their teamwork spirit, arouse their enthusiasm and initiative in learning English; By listening comprehension, develop students logic-thinking and their quick-reaction abilities. Third, Moral objectsBy studying color and peoples appearance, the teacher should pay more attention to cultivate their love to the nature, the beauty and our life. At the same time, improve their observation and summarizing abilities. Part III Say the Teaching methods English classroom teaching should be under the teachers organization and direction, students take an active part in it , we should take students as the center of the process , try to use different kinds of teaching methods to arouse their learning interest. So teaching methods are the key to the success or failure of classroom teaching. According to the characteristics of this lesson, I mainly use three teaching methods, they are Communicative teaching method, Audio-Visual teaching method and Task-based teaching method. In class, students are real masters while the teacher should act as a director. Im always in the full enthusiasm, make full use of multimedias, lead the students into a vivid and rich infection situation, encourage students to experience, practice, cooperate and communicate, achieve the goals of the task, feeling the success. In this way, it can not only arouse students learning interest, develop their listening and speaking abilities but also train them to study with the cooperation and independent learning skills.Part IV Say the Teaching process English teaching essence is social communication. Classroom teaching is not I teach you learning , but is the exchange between teachers and students, students and students. The classroom teaching activity is to know English, master English and form the ability of using English. So according to the demands of the New Standard English course, in order to develop students learning skills, I mainly choose three points to talk about: First, say the review“Get new knowledge by reviewing the old.” Because the students are those who are in Grade Seven, they are young and focus short time, so its very necessary for the teacher to ask them to review old knowledge from time to time. In order to ask students to review the description of the parts of the body and prepare for the next teaching, I let students chant with actions. In this way, it can also arouse their learning interest and make them become more active. Second, say the introductionAfter the review, Ill lead in the new lesson. So I designed the introduction. As we know, music can directly move a person, it is a good helper of English teaching, it is very helpful to influence teachers and students sentiment, inspire their imagination, train their attention, observation and memory, fully arouse their enthusiasm, deepen their experience to the language feeling. So I choose “Music leading-in law”, ask students to listen to an English song “Colors”. After listening, Ill say “There are so many colors in it. Arent they beautiful? Do you want to know the names of the colors? OK, lets learn together!” I write the new words on the blackboard, teach them again and again. After this, Ill use courseware model to show some colorful and walking shoes, let students say the colors quickly and repeatedly until they master them. I think these pictures are very funny, its easy to attract their attention. So its not difficult for students to master these words.Third, say the drillCreating true environment for students to learn English is one of the requirements of task-based teaching method. So I designed the drill. End of color words, Ill ask students to look at the blackboard, I draw two pictures on it. One is a man with a big nose; the other is a woman with big eyes. They are special, so its easy for students to describe their appearance. Naturally, lead students to describe peoples appearance. Ask and answer between the teacher and the students, pay more attention to using important sentence patterns, such as “What does he/she look like? What color is his/her hair?” (Write them on the blackboard) “Practice makes perfect”. Then, show some other special pictures, ask students to make dialogs in groups, then, perform their dialogs before class. During the group work, guide the students to turn the knowledge in the book into their own and develop their abilities of using English. Part V Say the blackboard design A good blackboard design plays an important part in the English teaching, itll directly affect the quality of classroom teaching. So I try to make the blackboard design clear and ordered. Write the topic on the top of the blackboard, list the important points in the middle of it. They are divided into two parts: color words and useful expressions, they are all related to the pictures. Such a blackboard design is clear and its easy for students to understand the lesson and remember the important points. Ok, thats all. A部分我准备从五个方面来说这一课第一部分 说教学材料在第二单元第二个话题中这是第一课,它主要讲授如何使用颜色去描述人们的外貌这一部分与学生们的日常生活密切相关,有助于激发他们的学习兴趣,对学生进行思想情感教育而且,所有重点句型都是第一次出现,例如:What does he/she look like? What color is his/her hair?它们为以后的教学起了很好的铺垫作用通过学习这一课,有助于学生提高听,说,读,写能力,这些是素质教育对学生的基本要求这也正是我选择这一话题的原因第二部分说教学目标英语教学的目标是激发和培养学生的学习兴趣,帮助学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯;使学生掌握一定的语言基本技能去彼此交流和用英语表达他们的思想.为此我为这一课确立了三项教学目标:知识目标:单词,句子量是学习英语的基础因此,我要求学生不但要熟记描述颜色和身体部位的单词和句型,而且要掌握重要语法能力目标:学习用颜色描述人的外貌,通过问和答,培养合作能力,激发学习的积极性和主动性;在连贯的听说活动中,训练学生的逻辑思维和快速反映能力德育目标:通过对颜色和人物外貌的学习,注重培养学生热爱生活,热爱自然,热爱美的情感,并注重培养他们的观察能力的概括能力第三部分说教学方法英语课堂教学是在教师的组织和指导下,学生积极参与配合的过程,以学生为中心是这个过程的出发点。在这个过程中,如何激发学生的学习动机,调动学生的学习积极性,是英语教师应该考虑也必须解决好的问题。可见教学方法关系到课堂教学的成败根据本课特点,我主要使用三种教学方法,他们是:合作交流教学法;多媒体展示教学法;任务型教学法在课堂上,学生是主体,老师是指挥者我始终以饱满的热情,充分利用多媒体,把学生带入一个生动形象,富有感染的情境中去鼓励学生去体验,实践,参与和合作,实现任务的目标,感受成功用这种方法,不但可以激发学生的学习积极性,提高他们的听说能力,而且培养他们的合作,自主学习的能力第四部分说教学过程英语教学的实质是交际。课堂教学并非是“我教你学”,而是师生之间,学生之间的交流;课堂教学活动是通过交际使学生认识英语,掌握英语,形成运用英语的能力.所以,根据新课标的要求,为了培养学生的学习能力,我主要谈论三点:说复习温故而知新因为是七年级的学生,他们年纪小,注意力短暂,因此老师有必要让他们经常复习旧知识为了让他们复习身体部位的单词
