Section B (2a-2e)教学设计一整体设计思路、指导依据说明新课标中指出,新目标初中英语教材提倡工具性和人文性的统一,融汇话题,交际功能和语言结构,形成一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序.提倡以人为本,因此,本节课我以培养学生语言技能,语言知识学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础,培养学生英语综合语言应用能力。通过感知,体验,实践,参与和合作等方式,实现目标,感受成功。在学习过程中对学生进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际应用能力的提高。二教学背景分析教学内容分析:本单元教学以“暴风雨来临时你正在做什么?”导入,围绕“谈论过去发生的事情”这个话题展开教学,引导学生通过学习本单元的语言素材看图说话、句型操练、实际描述、对话表演,使学生学会用英语讲故事。这个话题贴近学生的生活,让他们有话可说。本单元的教材特点是话题集中,但句型不多。主要语法为when引导的时间状语从句和过去进行时。学生情况分析:本单以讲故事的形式出现,学生会乐于参与。另外,学生学习过现在进行时态,接触过去进行时态时会比较容易。三教学目标分析: 教学目的的确立离不开教学内容和学生的实际情况,我把本课的教学目标确定为:1 语言目标:能运用过去时态描写过去发生的事情。 2 技能目标:能听懂有关过去发生事件,能简单描写过去发后的事件。 3 情感目标:能通过学习本课,培养学生在困境中互帮互助的品质 四、教学重点 、难点分析教学重点:1、Learn to talk about the past events, using the target language;2 Master the same and differences between when and while ;3 Can talk about the things and tell stories by using the past and past-progressive tenses.教学难点:1 Master the same and differences between when and while ;2Tell stories by using the past and past-progressive tense.语法:过去进行时。 教学准备:“班班通” 课件五教学过程设计(中文为主+英文)Step 1 Warming up(3-5分钟)T: Hello,everyone,what were you doing when I came in ?Ss:Hi,my name is,When you came in ,was V+ ing/ were V+ing .设计意图:以形象生动的画面,为过去进行时的出现做好铺垫。 Step 2 Presentation (3-5分钟) New words teaching:passage n.章节、段落. pupil n .学生. completely adv 彻底地完全地shocked adj 惊愕的、受震惊的 silence n .沉默、缄默、无声 in silence 沉默、无声 recently adv .不久前、最近take down 拆除、往下拽、记录terrorist n .恐怖分子、恐怖主义者.date n.日期;日子. tower n . 塔、塔楼. at first 首先、最初. truth n. 事情、实情.Allen 艾伦(姓)Martin Luther King 马丁。路德。金 World Trade Center 世贸大楼(美国纽约)2a. Look at the pictures and the title in the passage. What do you think the passage is about? 阅读指导: Read the title and first sentences. The title can be helpful for you to understand a text. It is also a good idea to read the first sentence of each paragraph before you read the whole text. 设计意图:通过对学生阅读指导的解释,为学生学习课文打下基础。 并要求学生用此方法去阅读下面的文章,并回答问题。Step 3 Reading and doing 2b-2e(30-35分钟) 2b. Read the passage and answer the questions. 1. What are the two events in the passage? 2. When did they happen? Play the (PPt) for the Ss look and answer the two questions.Then play the PPt for the Ss and introduce two events. Next get Ss read part 1 carefully and answer the questions:1 What was Robert Allen doing at that time ?2 How did Robert know the news ?3 How did Robert s parents feel when they heard the news?4 Did they talk about the news during their dinner ?设计意图:通过让学生自己阅读课文,然后回答以上问题,可以检查学生是否读懂课文,尤其可以检查学生是不是应用了“阅读指导”方法。After 3 minutes ask individual student to stand up and answer the questions one by one. And explain some difficult words for the Ss. eg: passage n. 章节,段落; completely adv.完全地complete adj.; shocked adj. 惊愕的,受震惊的; in silence 沉默,无声; recently adv. 最近 recent adj.After that let Ss read part 2 in silence . If Ss need any help , I will give them helps.2c. Read the passage again. Are the following statements true (T) or false (F), or is the information not given (NG)? _ 1. Everyone in American remembers who killed Dr. King. _ 2. Robert Allen was eating lunch when Dr. King was killed. _ 3. Roberts parents were shocked to hear the news. _ 4. Kate Smith was watching a movie when a plane hit the World Trade Center. _ 5. Kate didnt think her friend was telling the truth about the event. 2d. Underline sentences from the passage with similar meanings to the ones below. 1. Not everyone will remember who killed him, but they can remember what they were doing when they heard that he got killed. 2. No one said anything for the rest of dinner. 3. September 11, 2001- the date alone means something to most people in the US. 4. I had trouble thinking clearly after that because I was very afraid. 设计意图:通过课件展示,形象具体的再现现场,为学生练习目标语言搭建平台。2e How much do you remember about the events in the passage?Test your partner.A:When did Dr.Martin King die?B:He died on .Step 4 Language points (3-5分钟)1. passage n. 章节,段落 passage 作“(文章的)段落”解时, 不限于文章的一个自然段, 也可以由若干句话或若干个 paragraphs 组成。 passage 也可作“一段, 一节”解, 一般指讲话、文章或乐曲的一部分。 e.g. The teacher spent an hour in explaining this passage. 老师用了一小时来讲解这一段。 2. My parents were completely shocked! completely adv. 彻底地,完全地 e.g. I understand completely. 我完全明白。 shocked adj. 惊愕的;受震惊的 e.g. She was so shocked that she could hardly say a word. 她大为震惊,几乎一句话也说不出来。 Explain some difficult phrases for the Ss3. My parents did not talk after that, and we finished the rest of our dinner in silence. in silence 沉默,无声 without speaking or making a sound; silently e.g. Many patients were waiting in silence. 许多病人在静静地等候着。 A hundred and fifty reporters sat in silence. 4. I didnt believe him at first. at first “起初,首先”,作为介词短语,只起副词作用(在句中用作状语)。 at first主要用于强调前后对照,暗示接下去的动作与前面的动作不同甚至相反,因此常有 but, afterwards, soon, at last 等相呼应。 e.g. At first we used hand tools. 首先我们使用手工工具。 At first I didnt want to go, but soon I changed my mind. 我开始不想去,但我很快就改变了主意。 设计意图:通过对语言的习得,加深了对目标语言的掌握程度,体现教学的工具性和人文性。Step 6 Summary 和法制渗透 (5分钟)1. 在历史上 in history 2. 默默地 in silence 3. 首先 at first 4. 讲实话 tell the truth 5. 做.感到吃惊 be shocked to do sth. 6. 做某事有麻烦 have trouble doing sth. 7. 如此.以致 so that 法制渗透:中华人民共和国突发事件应对法第五十七条突发事件发生地的公民应当服从人
