财 务 英 语 课 程 授 课 计 划(2011 -2012学年第一学期)授课班级ACCA 09级任课教师本学期周数16课程总学时96周学时6本学期计划教学时数16理论课学时60实训(验)课学时6习题课学时24复习课学时6机动学时使用教材MacKenzie I., English for Financial Sector, Cambridge University Press, 2008.主要参考资料Strutt P., Market Leader: Intermediate Business Grammar and Usage, Pearson Longman, 2004.编 写 说 明(本课程的教学目标、方法手段、考核方式、成绩评定及对学生的要求)一、COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course is intended to equip the learners with the ability to understand spoken and written English in a number of realistic situations of finance practitioners who are likely to encounter in daily working lives; spoken texts including finance presentations, lectures, discussions and business documents .Integrate grammar rules in the writing of letters, memos, reports and proposals.二、TEACHING METHODS(1) Teaching in class. Explain the profound theoretical knowledge in class. This is helpful to the students to master the elementary knowledge accurately. (2) Case study. Provide case study during teaching, and make the students to discuss about the case. It strengthens the students understanding for theoretical knowledge as well as their analysis capability. (3) Practice teaching. Through operations on the simulative practice platform, strengthen the students understanding and application of the overall content of the course, and hammer their strain capacity. (4) Bilingual and full English teaching. Since there are lot of documents written in English in international trade, we give the lectures in English and bilingual language according to the characteristics of the students to enhance their professional skill. (5) Reasonable inspection ways. Inspect students various performances such as classroom discussion, role-play, and the attendance rate in order to get the evaluation for the overall ability of the students.三、STUDENT EVALUATIONTest 20%; Oral presentation 20%; Final Examination 60%四、REQIREMENTS1. Students are asked to be polite to lecturer2. Students are asked to arrive class on time, must not absent. 3. Students are asked to respect and obey teachers instructions.4.
