Greetings and Leading in Yesterday, there was a rainstorm. Where were they when therainstorm came? Here are some reports. For example:A: Where were you when the rainstorm came?B: I was in the library.A: What were you doing there?B: I was reading. New words Show some pictures about the new words to the students and ask them to repeat. Then ask Ss to read these new words together. . Pre-task 1. Ask the students to listen to the song and guess who the singer is .2. The students guess he is Jay Chou .3. The teacher show some pictures on the screen ,and ask the students to describe the story of Jay Chouaccording to the pictures .4. The teacher ask the others to retell the story of Jay Chou . While-task Work on 2a and 2d 1. 2a Listen and number the pictures 1-5.2. 2b Listen again. Fill in the blanks in the sentences in 2a.3. Play the recording again to check the answers. . Post-task 1. Look at 2c. Use the information in 2a to retell the story in the conversation between the boy and the TV reporter. 2. Look at 2d. Make the Ss scan the conversation first.3. Explain some main points for the Ss. 4. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. . SummaryIn this class, we have learned Past Progressive Tense.
