Section B 教案【教学目标】1.知识目标:(1)识记下列单词:repeat, memorize, create, attention, knowledge, lifelong, overnight(2)理解并会运用下列短语:be born with, increase reading speed, make mistake in grammar, connect.with.(3)Reading“How can you become a successful learner?”2.技能目标:(1)Be able to know how to solve problems.(2)Findoutyoursuitablelearningmethods.(3)阅读短文,掌握短文内容,提高学生阅读能力并能正确理解,运用新词组。【教学重点】1.要求学生整体掌握本单元的词汇、短语和重点句式。2.要求学生谈论学英语时可能遇到的困难以及相应的解决方法。【教学难点】1.理解掌握并会运用下列短语:be born with, increase reading speed, make mistake in grammar.2.找出学生自己在学习中遇到的困难并加以解决。【教学过程】Step 1:Warm-upQuestions: Do you think learning English is difficult or not? Why or why not? What will you do when you meet some difficulties? Who will you ask for help?课前的师生问答互动不仅让学生回顾了上节课的内容,引导学生大胆地说英语,而且还可以很自然地导入到本节课的内容。Step 2: Presentation1. 完成教材上1a-1e的任务。1) 1a.教师课前根据1a的内容制作课件并把课件展示在电子白板上,列举出学生在英语学习中会遇到的问题,引导学生根据课件所示的内容作答,也可以添加一些内容。2) 1b.要求学生根据自己的学习情况结合上述课件所示的内容,引导学生说出在英语学习中还有哪些问题,并把它们一一列举出来。3) 1c. Listen and complete the learning challenges Paul talks about.4) 1d. Listen again and complete the solutions.5) 1e. 分角色表演:运用1c和1d里面的信息,表演学生和老师之间或者学生跟学生之间的对话。2.完成教材上2a的任务。1) What good learning habits can you think of? Make a list and discuss them with your partner.2) Ask the students to preview the passage and know how to use the reading strategy.3) Play the game: Take three cards from three bags, and make a complete sentence with the words in the card. 3.完成教材上2b-2e的任务。1) 2b. Read the passage and underline the new words, then ask the students to look up the words in a dictionary and write down their meanings.2) Read the passage quickly and check if any of the habits the students listed in 2a are mentioned. Which four habits of successful learners can the students find from the passage?Creating an interest in what they learn.Practicing and learning from mistakes.Developing their study skills.Asking questions.3) 2c. Read the passage again and answer the questions.4) 2d. Find the following words from the passage in the dictionary. Then write a sentence using each word.Step 3: Group work 小组活动:Do you think you are a good learner?What learning habits do you think are useful? Discuss with your group and share the ideas with the class.Suppose your friend wants to improve his/her English and ask you for help. What are the three best ways to learn and why? Make some notes.Step 4: Self CheckTask 1: 复习与记忆Ask students to review the whole unit, including words, expressions, sentences, and their notes.Task 2: 完成教材上Self-Check的任务1.
