Listen to an English song to relax. Then tell them that this is my favorite song and introduce the information about it to them. Let the students guess that what kind of music it is. And then let them think about the question “what other kinds of music do you know?” The new words pop, rock and country music will be learned. Ask the students to close their eyes and play a country music. After that, they have to answer the question: “What does it make you think about?” Step2 While-reading activities Task 1 Now, there is a story about music. Please turn to page 62. first of all, read the title together. From the title, the students can know the story is about a girl and country music. Task 2 Read the passage quickly and then match the main ideas with each paragraph. Ask the students to find out the main sentences and key words. Task 3 Read the first paragraph again and answer the questions:1. Who is sarah?2. Where is she from?3. What does she like?Task 4 Read the second paragraph and complete the chart about country music.Task 5 Read the third paragraph and answer the questions about Garth brooks.Task 6 Write T for true or F for false.Step 3 Discussion Discuss the question “ What can we learn from Sarshs story? What should we do in our life? Finally, tell the students “ Nothing is important than to love your family”, so please be polite to your parents.Step 4 Homework Write a
