What does the man do? 2. Is he happy? ( relax atmosphere and make students active. Lead in the topic of this unit naturally)Step2. PresentationThe teacher shows some pictures about volunteering activities and let students fill in the blanks by using the phrasesFor example: show the picture in which some students are cleaning the parks. and let the students try to filling the blanks.(clean up)At the same time, present the words one by one.(Attract students attention, let students speak more and lead in this lesson naturally. At the same time,the picture are vivid and easy for students to understand and receive the new knowledge ) Step3. Practice1. The teacher shows some pictures about volunteering activities and let students say what they could do to help others. For example: show a picture in which some volunteers give out food at the food bank. The students say we could give out food at the food bank.2. Free talk: set up some situations, and let students talk about other ways they could help others.Eg: a student failed in exam and he is sad.(cheer up).
