Where wold they put all the earth and stone from the mountains?2.能力目标: 1)能听懂并了解愚公移山这一传说故事的内容的英文表达。 2)学会使用how,what,where,why,who等引导的一系列特殊疑问句进行问答,完成故事的简单叙述。 3)学习用英文讲故事,并恰当地使用这些连词:unless,as soon as,so that,but,finally等。3.情感态度与价值观: 学习愚公不怕苦不怕累,遇到困难,知难而上的精神。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词及叙述故事的习惯用语:shoot,remind,god,once upon a time 等 2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型:How does the story begin?What happened next? 2. 教学难点: 学习用英文讲故事,并在讲述过程中恰当地使用连词。3、 教学准备: Multimedia, PPT, blackboard四、教学过程Step 1 warm-up& Lead-in 1.Greet each other as usual.2. Lead in the topic of this unit. Do you like stories? Do you know these traditional Chinese stories? (ppt 呈现课本上的1a 部分几幅图片) Step 2 Presentation 1. 引导学生们学习生词。让学生们看大屏幕来学习本课时的生词。2. Try to remember the new words. Step 3 Writing1. Look at the pictures in 1a, then read the names of the story in the box.2. Students discuss with their partners and match the names of the stories with the pictures. Listen and see who knows the name of the story. 2. Play the recording again. Let students check the facts they hear. 3. Check the answers. Step 5 Pair work 1. Read the questions in the box in 1c. 2. Students discuss the questions with their partners. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer the questions. e.g. A: How does the story happen? B: Once upon a time, there was a very old man.There were two tall mountains near his house. A: What happened next?B: A very old man tried to move the mountains. A: Why did the old man try to move the mountains?B:Because the mountains were so big and it took a long time to walk to the other side.A: Where would they put all the earth and stone from the mountains? B: They would put it into the sea. Step 6 Listening Work on 2a: T: Lets continue to listen to the story. 1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things they are going to do. When you listen to the story, please number the pictures. 2. Play the recording for the students to listen and number the pictures. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let students read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the students. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the students to circle the correct words in the brackets. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Step 7 Pair work 1. Tell students to make a story chain. students tell the story one by one with the pictures in 2a. 2. Let some students tell the story to the class. 3. See which groups story is better.
