Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Section A(1a-2d)河北省秦皇岛市青龙满族自治县祖山兰亭中学 李秀文一、教学目标:1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:shoot, shot, stone,remind, a bit, silly, instead of能掌握以下句型: How does the story begin? What happened next? What do you think of the story of Yu Gong? What could Yu Gong do instead of moving the mountains?2) 能够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续等。能够对故事中的人物或情节发表一些简单的看法或观点。2. 情感态度价值观目标: 学习愚公“主动挖山”的精神。在我们生活工作中存在着很多的“山”。在这些山的面前,我们应该像愚公一样,不畏艰险,不怕困难,明知困难却迎难而上,凭借自己的力量勇敢的克服困难。愚公勇敢面对困难的精神,正是值得我们所学习的。二、学情分析八年级学生经过一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读,写过渡,通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了初步自主合作,分析归纳的能力。并处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣至关重要。三、重点难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词:shoot ,stone ,remind, a little bit, silly, instead of等,并会应用。2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型:How does the story begin?What happened next?3)学会表达故事中的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法或观点。 What do you think of / about the story of Yu Gong? I think its a little bit silly. I still dont agree with you.2. 教学难点: 学会讲故事和并发表一些表达对故事中的人物或情节的简单的看法或观点。四、教学方法:听说法、活动式教学法五、教具: ppt课件、flash动画、实物展台、单词抽认卡六、教学过程活动1【导入】Step1Leadin T:Today we are going to learn Unit6.First of all, lets enjoy the video“Yu Gong Moved the mountains”.(播放动画片寓公移山的视频,导入本课话题。)T: Do you like the story?S1:Yes,I do.T: Do you like telling stories? Have you ever heard these stories?S1: Hou Yi shoots the SunsT:Do you know other traditional Chinese stories?S2: Nu Wa repairs the skyS3: Journey to the West活动2【活动】Step2Presentation 1. 利用实物展台,引导学生们学习生词。让学生们看大屏幕来学习本课时的生词。shoot, shot ,once upon a time, stone,remind, a little bit, silly, instead of.边学习,边检测应用。2.
