Have you ever been late for school? 2. Can you tell me why?3. What happened to you that day?Step 4Show Ss some pictures about the reasons that one was late for school and then read and talk about the given sentence.Step 5Show Ss some pictures in the textbook and then ask them to look at the pictures, and imagine what happened to the girl.Step 6List each picture to the Ss and ask them to talk about what has happened to the girl. And then give the reason and a sentence.Step 7Ask Ss to listen to Mary talking about her morning and then complete the sentences.Step 8Listen again and answer the questions.Step 9Pair works.
