Students can use “when”correctly .教学过程Step 1 Greeting. 1. Lets begin our class. This class, we will learn “What were you doing when the rainstorm came ?” 2. Read the title together.3. Look at me and listen to me play the erhu.4. Ask: What am I doing? What are you doing5. Show some pictures to the students to learn the new words and phrases .Step 2 presentation 1. Show some sentences on the screen . 2. Students to read and learn the sentences on the screen.3. Look at the picture and think about what was happening. Pay attention to the past progressive tense.Step 3 work on 1a. 1.Read and match the statements with the right picture.2.Read and recite the place phrases.Step 4 Work on 1b. 1. Read the phrases.2. Listen and circle.3. Check the answers.Step 5 Talking.According to the pictures to finish the sentences.What was he/she doing at the time of the rainstorm?Step 6 work on 2a-2b1. Play the tape for the students to listen and number 1-5 in the order.2.
