Knowledge Objects(1) To learn to make polite requests and ask for permission.(2) To master the key vocabulary: rubbish, fold, weep, floor, do the dishes ,take out the rubbish, fold ones clothes, sweep the floor ,make ones bed, clean the living room.(3) To learn and master the target language:-Could you please sweep the floor?-Yes, sure./Of course./Certainly./With pleasure./No problem.- Sorry, I cant, I have to/Id love to, but2. Ability Objects(1) Be able to understand and master the conversations about making a polite request and ask for permission.(2) Enable students to make a polite request and ask for permission.3. Moral Objects(1) Let students know that its always right to be polite.(2) Chores are part of fun in life.二、 Teaching Key Points1、 Help students learn how to make polite requests and ask for permission with the target language.2、 Be able to understand and make the conversations about making a polite request and asking for permission. 三、 Teaching Difficult PointsBe able to make a polite request and ask for permission.四、 Teaching MethodsThe situational teaching method, task-based language teaching method, communicative and approach, the game teaching method.五、 Teaching AidsPPT六、 Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Warming-up Ask students the following questions:1. What do you often do on the weekend?2. Do you often do any chores at home? (Write the word chores on the blackboard.) 3. What kind of chores do you often do?Ask and write some kinds of chores on the blackboard.Step 2 Words study Show the pictures on the screen first, and ask students to guess the phrases.( do the dishes ,take out the rubbish, fold ones clothes, sweep the floor ,make ones bed, clean the living room). Lead them to read for several times.(大小声读,男女分组读,炸弹读)。Play a game: Whats missing? Each time ask a student to find out what is missing? then check together, if he is right, give him a big hand, if not, a bomb instead.Step 3 Listening Do you often help your mother do any chores? Lets listen a conversation between Peter and his mother. Lead students to go through the box first, then ask them to finish it, try to check who will do these chores. Play the tape for the first time, check one by one. Then play for the second time and ask them to write down the chores they heard. Ask some pairs to role play this part.Step 4 Pair work Lead them to read. Ask some pairs to read.A:Could you please sweep the floor?B:Yes,sure.Can you do the dishes?A:Well,could you please do them? Im going to clean the living room.B:No problem.Let students to make their own conversation by using the following phrases.mop the floor cook a meal set the table make tea/coffee make breakfast/lunch/supperwash clothes do shopping Ask them to perform in front of the class.Step 5 Practice Show a dirty living room and say: this is my living room, its very dirty but I have no time to clean it. Could you please clean it for me?Ask students to follow their heart to answer the question. A:Could you please clean the room?B:Yes,sure./Noproblem./Certainly!/Ofcourse!/With pleasure!/All right! B: Sorry, I cant, I have to/Id love to, butAsk and answer according to the pictures.Step 6 Writing Give out a piece of paper to every student, ask them to finish it in 5 minutes. Correct in group first, and choose the best one in each group to read in class.Step 7 Summary Ask some students to sum up what we learned today. Read the key words together loudly.
