What do they want to do？Lets listen and connect.”2.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM，学生认真听，然后完成练习。3.教师出示正确答案，并根据答案进行新知识的学习。（二）学习新知识。1.教学单词toilet和句子Please help me clean the toilet.（1）教师说：“Sally and her mother will clean the toilet. Please find the sentences in the dialogue.”导出单词toilet的教学，并与WC进行对比。教师出示图片让学生感知toilet，告诉学生toilet意为厕所、盥洗室，是较为正式文雅的称呼。WC意为公共厕所，是非常口语的一种说法。（2）教师出示一些图，请学生看图说话，如：Please help me clean the window.Please help me clean the classroom.Please help me clean the bedroom.（3）教学单词bedroom，告诉学生，这也是复合词，由bed（床）和room（房间）合并构成的。教师出示clean the bedroom和clean the toilet，学生操练。2.教学单词water和plant，教学句子Water the plants.（1）教师指着前面练习上的图问：“What does Mom want Ben to do？”在“给植物浇水”图下出示词组water the plants。（2）出示单词卡片water，教学water和water the plants。告诉学生water作为名词表示“水”，作为动词表示“浇水”。如：water the flowers（浇花）water the trees(浇树） （3）请学生看课本第38页的第二段，读一读母亲与Ben的对话。告诉学生a piece of cake是英语口语，意思是“很容易的事”。3.教学单词floor和词组make the bed，教学句子Pick up the toys on the floor.（1）出示整理床铺的图片，教学make the bed，并板书在相应的图下。（2）教学单词floor和词组on the floor。（3）出示图片，看图说话，如：Pick up the toys on the floor.
