I have to do my homework.-Could I go to the movies? -Yes, you can.-Could I please use the computer? - No, you cant. B: Sure./No problem./ All right. 展示训练1. Listening (1b)Before listening: let Ss look at the picture and ask:“Will Peter take out the rubbish?”“Who will do the chores in 1b? Peter or his mother?”While listening: listen and fill in the chart.After listening: Ss give their answers by using the structure:“Peters mother will./ Peter will.”2. Speaking (1c)First Ss read and translate the dialogue , then underline sentences that make polite requests. Finally, make conversations about the chores in 1a.3. Listening (2a、2b)Before listening: look at the picture and think:“Whats the boys name?” “Whos the man next to the boy?” “Where are they?” “What does the boy want to do?”While listening: first check yes or no, then draw lines to the reasons in the chart.After listening: Ss check their answer by using the structure:“Could I.?”“Yes, you can. / No, you cant because.”4. Speaking (2c)First Ss read and translate the dialogue , then underline sentences that ask for permission. Finally, compare the sentence“Could I do.?” with“Could you please do.?” 5.
