Unit 6 Go with transportationLesson 34 Flying donuts 教材分析本课的教学内容是第六单元的第四课时, 内容主要介绍Danny想像中的一种新的交通工具, 引导学生充分发挥想像力、创造力, 设想未来的交通工具, 并用英语表达出来, 从而激发学生的创造力和表现欲, 使他们从中体会到学习的快乐。教学中, 采用“任务探究创造”型的教学方法, 借助多媒体辅助教学, 增加直观性和趣味性。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】记忆单词invention, oil, probably短语stay up late, turn on等。 激发学生的兴趣, 让学生学会介绍自己想像的交通工具。【过程与方法目标】Reading and speaking【情感态度价值观目标】培养学生表达自我的能力, 发挥想像力、创造力, 张扬个性, 展示自我。 教学重难点【教学重点】通过听力训练, 小组合作, 角色扮演的方式, 学会在情景交际中练习语言点, 并提高英语听说技能。【教学难点】掌握词汇invention, oil, probably, 接触词汇presentation, backpack, cardboard, fuel, imagination, 学习短语think of, stay up late, at the front of, turn on等。 课前准备图片,PPT 教学过程Step. Lead inLeading in 【情景1】Show the pictures of transportation, and lead the students to review the names of them. T: What kinds of transportation can you name?Ss: Bicycle/Train/Rocket/Car/Boat/Plane/Bus/T: Imagine a new type of transportation. Describe it!Allow several students to respond. S1: It would fly in the air, but it wouldnt have wings. It would go really fast and it would be good for the environment. T: Look! This is Dannys new invention. He stayed up late to make his invention last night. He calls it “Flying Donuts”. Today were going to know it well. (Write “Lesson 34: Flying Donuts” on the blackboard. )设计意图将学习内容和生活实际相联系, 培养学生平时注意观察生活的习惯。Leading in 【情景2】T: I told you to make some riddles about your favourite transportation. Are you ready? Whod like to have a try? And others try to guess. S1: Big bird in the sky, some people in that. Fly east and fly west. Whats that?S2: Plane. S3: It is very long. It can hold many people in it. It can also carry goods. What is it?S4: Train. T: Whats your favourite way to travel? T: Please read the lesson carefully. Finish Exercise 1 in “Lets Do It!”. Ask the students to write down the answers. Then check the answers together. 设计意图首先指导学生在原文中寻找答案的依据, 适时进行讲解, 并及时训练。2. T: Now lets read the lesson again and we will know more about it. Please try to read aloud. Answer the following questions. Danny has thought of a new kind of transportation. think of表示“认为;考虑;想起;想出(主意)”。What do you think of Transformers IV?你认为变形金刚怎么样?I cantthink of his name at the moment. 我此刻想不起来他的名字了。 2. Last night, Danny stayed up late to make his invention. stay up late意为“熬夜”, 是不及物动词短语。We stayed up late till midnight to see the New Year in. 我们熬到午夜等待新年的到来。to make his invention是不定式短语, 在句中作目的状语。动词不定式还可以作主语、宾语、状语、定语。To exercise every day is good for your health. 每天锻炼对你的健康有好处。(作主语, 谓语动词用第三人称单数。)I want to be a teacher in the future. 在未来我想要成为一名老师。(作宾语)Her job is to teach English in No. 2 Middle School. 她的工作是在第二中学教英语。(作表语)During the Spring Festival, children have a lot of time to play. 在春节期间, 孩子们有许多玩的时间。(作定语)3. Now Danny is standing at the front of the classroom. at the front of意为“在前面”, 指事物内部的前面, 相当于 in the front of, 其反义词组为at the back of。Tom sits at/in the front of the classroom. 汤姆坐在教室的前面。There is a blackboard at/in the front of the classroom. 教室的前面有一块黑板。4. First, you put the Flying Donuts bag on your back. put on 表示 “把放在上” , put on还可以表示“穿上”, 此时其反义词组是 take off (脱下)。Its cold outside! Please put on your warm clothes! 外边很冷!请穿上你的暖和的衣服!5. Then you turn it on and jump into the air!turn on为动词短语, 意为“打开;拧开”, 指打开电器、水龙头、煤气等。 其中 on 为副词, 若宾语是代词, 则位于 on 之前;若宾语是名词, 位于 on 前、后均可。其反义词组是 turn off。Turn on the radio. =Turn the radio on. 打开收音机。And remember, turn off the power after you turn off the computer. 并且要记住, 要在关闭电脑之后再关上电源。Step .
