To learn new structure the negative imperative . 教学重点The use of prepositions & the negative imperative. 教学难点How to describe the preposition of one object . 教学过程教师活动学生活动备课札记Step1 Revision and play a guessing gameHold a pencil-box and ask:Whats in the pencil-box?Can you guess?Write the answer on the blackboard.Put the pencil-box on the teachers desk and ask: Is there a pencil-box on the teachers desk?Write the answer on the blackboard.Step2 PresentationPut a pencil-box behind one box and ask: Is there a pencil-box behind the box ? Present “behind ” Ss can easily get the meaning. Teach the words “between, under and in front of” in the similar way.Step3 Learn to saySs open their textbooks on page 28 . They are asked to cover the sentences below the pictures and rewrite the Answer:Theres a pencil-box in it . S1:Is there a in the pencil-box?Yes , there is .Guess the meanings of some key words.Practise writing sentences using Prep. according to the pictures. 。sentences and then check whether they are right or not . Step4 PresentationShow several pictures and teach “bird, flower, lake, tree, climb, swim, pick, feed.”For example:Show a picture of a bird:Whats this?Is there a bird in the picture?How many birds are there in the picture?Show another picture and say:What is he doing?He is feeding the birds.Add a circle to the bird, and say:Oh, dont feed the birds.Then read them together and make sure students can pronounce them correctly. Step 5 Listen, write and numberBefore the Ss listen to the tape, get them to write the meanings of these signs.For the first time play the tape and get the Ss to listen and number the pictures . Play the tape once again and fill in the blanks . Finally check the answers.Step 6 Test Have a test in class.Step7 Homework 1 Revise the use of the Prep. in English.2 Finish the exercises in the workbook.Look at some pictures and answer some questions . Where is he?Then write “Where is he?” on the Bb.Show the picture with many trees in front of the building.Present “Where are the trees?
