The difference: I have a pencil. He has a ruler.3. The plural of “hair”: it is not “hairs” but “hair”.4. Pronunciation of “quiet”-kwaiet,not kwait. Help students understand the meaning of this word by gestures.5. Use “strong” to describe a person who is a bit fat.III.Teaching preparation1. Teacher presents the pictures of Chen Jie and Amy and make dialogues:T: Who is she? Sts answer: Chen Jie / Amy.T: She has long hair / short hair.T: Chen Jie and Amy are friends. They are friends.Teacher presents the words cards and teaches: long hair, short hair , friends.2Teacher presents the pictures of Sarah and Miss White, making dialogues:T: Who is she? Sts answer: Sarah/ Miss White.T: She has long hair. She has short hair.3. Teacher points two of the students and says: “She is thin. He is strong” by presenting the word cards: thin , srong.Pay attention to the pronunciation of “thin”.4. Teacher shows students the pictures of Zhang Peng and Mr. Black, leads students to say: -Zhang Peng is strong. - Mr. Black is thin.6. Teacher makes the gesture of “Be quiet!” Let students say the word: “quiet” by presenting the word card quiet .7. Sentences in the text: “My friend is strong.
