Or:No,there isnt/arent.(3)How many s are there ?There is/are.(4) What belike?3. Affection and attitudes: School and class are the places of study, and We should love our school and class.Teaching aids: Smart notebook.Teaching methods:Interactive approach & Top-down approach .Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-in(Enjoy a song “Say you say me” to lead in “My school”)Step 2 Presentation 1. Present some pictures and new words. (Memory challenge)Teachers activities: Present pictures and lead to read the words.Students activities: Look at pictures,try to guess and read the words.Intention: to learn and consolidate some new words .2. Listen and choose the pictureActivity 2Teachers activities: Present the pictures about classrooms and play Students activities: Listen and choose.Intention: To understand by listening to the key word. 3. Look and read.Teachers activities: Present some picture with “There be”patterns.Students activities: Look at the pictures and read the sentences.Intention: To understand “There be” patterns to make the following conversation easily to hear clearly . 4.Listen and answer(Activity 3)Teachers activities: Present questions and play the recording.Students activities: Listen and answer.Intention: To understand the main idea of the conversation.5.Listen again and complete the tableTeachers activities: Present the table and play the recording.Students activities: Listen and fill in the table and check.Intention: To understand details while listening Step 3 Consolidation 1. Read and fill in the blanks.Teachers activities: Present the passage about the conversation.Students activities: Read silently and complete the passage.Intention: To make the key points stand out(突出重点)-“There be”patterns.2. Read in different roles.(Boys/Daming-Girls/Linda)Teachers activities: Divide the groups and remind the pronunciation and intonations by reading some sentences.Students activities: Read aloud and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonations.Intention: to understand and master language in a relative real situation .3. Match the word with the numbers-Activity 5&6Teachers activities: Present the numbers which end up with teen and ty. Present the pictures and play the recording.Students activities: Read and compare them to find out the rules, and then match the numbers. Listen and choose.Intention: To learn some numbers and make their talking more easily.Step 4 Practice 1. Ask and answer according to the pictureTeachers activities: Present the picture of a classroom and some patterns.Students activities: Ask and answer in pairs using “there be” pattern.Intention: To understand and master it by using a language.(突破难点)2. Find out differences.Teachers activities: Present two pictures of classrooms with differences.Students activities: Find and talk using “there be” patterns.Intention: To master language by using the patterns.
