This unit is the based unit of this module. 教学目标【知识目标】1. Students read and recognize all the new words in this unit.2. Students master the main usage of the key words. 3. Students learn to use the following new words, atmosphere, temperature, guess, green, result, increase, sea level, surface, habit, proper, and phrases greenhouse effect, in danger, as a result of, etc.【能力目标】Imitating and self-study; cooperation【情感目标】The usage of the key words to talk about the environment. 教学重难点【教学重点】Learn the new words. 【教学难点】Understand the passage on the basis of mastering the new words. 课前准备 Multimedia, radio-tape 教学过程Step 1.Lead-in.1.Guide students to think what the problems are by showing pictures(通过图片展示,以提问的方式展开). T: Ask: Look at the pictures and say what it tells us.Ss: .T: What causes the problems?Ss: .T: (Make a summary)Environment is important to us. The earth is our home, and we should try to protect it .Lets take action at once. (日常生活的实例,以增强效果)Step 2 PresentationReading Part A( A1,A2).T:Read to get the main idea by skimming ,scanning and task-reading. (展示课件,提醒学生是限时阅读,提醒学生注意小标题即每段的topic sentence)T: This article contains three parts and A1and A2 are only about the greenhouse effect.(展示课件,边问边答)Part B T: Listen carefully and try to remember as many details as possible.(针对Task1,Task2,Task3,边展示课件,边讲解,并让学生跟读)Part CT:Lets revise vocabulary and try to guess which can replace the underlined phrases .(展示课件并通过具体的实例讲解猜词的技巧,边提示边练习)Step3.Group WorkDiscuss the questions below in groups and then report your result to the whole class.
