教学大纲第一部分 前言一、 课程性质旅游英语是旅游英语专业的专业核心课程,也是旅游管理、旅行社管理、旅游文案、旅游景区开发专业的必修课程。本课程主要任务是培养训练学生英语听、说、读、写、译语言能力;并掌握系统的旅游、导游基础知识;熟悉了解国内丰富的旅游资源。二、 课程的基本理念本课程克服了忽视语言听说技能训练的弱点,大力加强了听说技能,特别是实用交际能力的训练,把培养一定的实用口语交际能力和培养对应用文等实用文体的阅读及口语能力作为该课程的重要任务。三、 课程设计思路将英语应用能力的训练体现于实用英语能力的培养之中,应用能力既指应用语言基本功的能力,更指把这些基本功运用到实际涉外交际中的能力。本课程十分注意“应用能力”和“实用能力”的关系,即“应用能力”是“实用能力”的基础“实用能力”则是“应用能力”的具体体现。注意贯彻学用结合的原则:“学一点、会一点、用一点”,“听、说、读、写、译并重”和“边学边用、学用结合”的原则。第二部分 课程目标一、 课程教学目标全面提高学生的听、说、读、写、译等综合语言应用能力,培养学生的语言能力、提高学生的综合素质,掌握系统的旅游基础知识、了解导游工作的基本环节和基本要求;熟悉了解国内外丰富的旅游资源,用所学得的英语和知识,为游客服务。二、 职业能力目标(一)理论知识目标掌握旅游英语的惯用语和专业词汇和相关旅游知识。(二)实践能力目标了解国内外著名旅游资源;熟悉导游工作的基本环节和基本要求;(三)综合能力目标提高英语语言表达能力,用所学得的英语和知识,为游客服务。第三部分 课程内容Unit 1 Meeting GuestsI.
