While tourism contributes more to the economic development around the area, it also brings much harm to the natural environment. Countless examples of deteriorating environment are drawing our attention. The destruction of environment starts from the construction of tourist resort. Roads and pathes are built to put the tourist close to nature. Hotels emerge to accommodate tourists who want to experience the real nature. In the process, the natural circulation is disturbed and the living conditions of the animals and plants are surely to be affected. Tourists are another source of pollution to the environment. Tourist buses carrying hundreds of pollution-makers emit great amount of waste gases into resort, which decreases the quality of the air. Rubbish from tourists may also affect the soil and water which are vital to the sustainment of the whole environment. When economic development is achieved at the expense of environment destruction, no real value is created. Under the perspective of sustainable development, tourism should be environmentally friendly. The government in areas of tourist resort should take precausion to stop the deterioration and limit the harm to the least extent. B. Score 10.5 With the rapid development of economy and advancement of transportation, people nowadays are provided with more possibilities and choices to spend their holidays. Tourism, therefore, enjoys increasing popularity among Chinese people. However, the booming industry has brought a series of problems to the environment, which in my opinion, severely damage the natural balance. First of all, as the number of tourists grow quickly, many natural spots can no longer accommodate those visitors. For example, last year when I visited Yulang mountain in Li Jiang, I found that the grassland was nearly occupied by tourists sitting on it, chatting and having picnic. And many of them left gabbage behind when they left. This was definitely a terrible damage to the originally weak environment. Secondly, the growing noises caused by the tourists may largely disturb the peacefulness of the nature and the lives of wild animals. It was reported by a newspaper that due to the increasing tourists, some swans in Qing Hai Lake can not give birth to their children. To sum up, the booming tourism may bring a lot of negative effects to the environment. And we should try to develop tourism and protect the environment at the same time. C. Score 9.5 As the rapid development of market economy and increasing income, it is natural for people in China to seek for material enjoyments. And many of them choose to travel, which can both relax themselves and broaden their minds. However, as far as Im concerned, as tourism brings a lot of good to modern people, it can also bring harm to our environment. To begin with, when we travel to a famous place, we often buy those food that are specially produced only in that area. Its often the case that we drop wasty food around after finishing eating it. For example, we can often find food that is used to feed animals thrown on the ground in a zoo. In addition, many symbolic buildings of places of interest are easy to be damaged by people of low awareness. They may write on them to recollect his or her trip. Whats more, many people are in bad habits such as spiting on the ground while they are traveling which can also be counted as a pollution to the environment. To come to a conclusion, though tourism can please people, it may also bring harm to the environment. It is important for us to reduce the harm to its minimus degree and protect our environment for our own good. 评语：观点尚明确，内容全充实，表达不够流畅，语法和用词不准，有少许拼写错误。 D. Score 7 Currently, theres much talk about whether tourism bring harm to the environment. Some people think tourism doesnt damage the environment seriously, while others hold the different opinions. They think tourism bring us more damage than its benefits. As far as I am concerned, I side with the former, in the belief that tourisms benefits are larger than its shortages. Admittedly, tourism bring harm to the environment as advocated by man, has its important role to play in protecting the environment. As is known to all, more tourism means more damage to the environment. However, these are numerous merits for tourism that giving us. First thing first, tourism brings us a lot of advantages in economy. That is to say, the better the tourism is, the more money we will make. Take 2008 Olympic Games as an example, the Games attract sounds of tourists all over the world to Beijing, which give a push to Beijings shops and places of interests. As a result, Beijing develops its markets largely. Second, tourism contributes a lot to environment protecting. An of us known that we should pay much attention to environment protecting as to make a progress in tourism. Its necessary to have a lasting development. For instance, Beijing had made a lot of preparation to protect the environment during the Olympic Games. Obviously, there was not much damage in Beijing because of tourism booming. Taking all these considerations into account, we can safely draw the conclusion that tourism can not bring much damage to our environment, and to make use of it, our government should take kinds of measures to protect the environment. 评语：观点混乱，论据不够充分，表达较生硬， 词汇、语法、拼写错误多。E :Score 4 With the improvement of our life standard, people have more money to spend on tourism.
