Unit7 How do you make a banana milk shake?教学设计一、教材依据:义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语(新目标)八年级 上册 二、教学思想:此单元以在家做食物为话题,学生将会学到根据食谱来描述制作食物的过程。本单元分为两部分,第一部分主要以基本句型为主,词汇为主,为第二部分的教学打基础。 三、教学目标:1知识与技能语言知识的教学可以采用提示、注意和观察、发现、分析、归纳、对比、总结等方式进行。应该有意识地组织学生参与到上述过程之中,以便他们在科学的思维方法上也得到锻炼。语言知识的归纳或总结的范围、深度、方法、时机要由听、说、读、写等语言实践和教学的需要来确定。学会使用how many 和how much 分别对可数名词和不可数名词的量提问.2教学方法采用互动式教学:主要表现为交流、合作、展示、补充、完善、深化自我学习成果,解决自我学习中不能解决的困难的过程。互动教学一般由导学、自学、小组研讨、组际交流和总结评价几个阶段组成。课堂活动以学生与学生、学生与教师间的互动为主。3情感、态度与价值观从自己动手制作食物中感受乐趣,并认识到只要自己肯做,没有什么困难可以阻止前进的脚步,感受父母为自己做饭的辛苦。四、教学重点1.掌握本课时重点单词和词组。2.能熟练说出制作香蕉奶昔的步骤。五、教学难点1.能熟练说出制作香蕉奶昔的步骤。2.通过小组合作,说出制作香蕉奶昔的步骤,并通过此话题锻炼学生听、说、读、写的能力。六、教学准备幻灯片演示文稿七、教学过程Unit7 How do you make a banana milk shake? After watching ,the teacher ask the students:What did you see in the movie? Ss:Corn,sandwich,chocolate,soup.Step3:Make Ss say names of the vegetables and fruits,like this: T:What do you like to eat? S:I like apples. T:What do I like to eat? S:Do you like eating bananas? T:Yes,in a word,I like all kinds of food.Step4:Competition Devide the class into four groups and show some pictures on the screen. T:Lets see who has quick eyes? What can you see? S:Watermelon. T:How many watermelons can you see? S:Two watermelons. The teacher show another picture on the screen and ask:T:What can you see?S:Yogurt.T:How much yogurt?S:Three teaspoons of yougurt.At the end of the competition.Ask “Which team is the best?”And sak the Ss to answer “Do you know how to use How many and How much ”.Next say,you can count some of the ingredients.For example,you can count bananas.But you cant count some of the yogurt. For example,you cant say five yogurt.Step5:Show three big letters “D,I,Y”on the screen. The teacher explain DIY it means “Do It By Yourselves”.And say ,DIY is quite popular now.You can do everything by your own hands.For example,you can DIY your clothes and any other toy you like.This time,say Ill teach you something by yourselves.Step6:PresentationMake a salad .First,we should get ready for it.T:What ingredients do we need?S:Bananas,watermelon,yougurt,honey,oranges and apples.Now,open your books and turn to page42.Say,Maria and Katie are making fruit salad.Listen carefully to what they are saying,and write your answers in the chart in 2a.Play the tape a second time.Write down the names of ingredients under “How many” and “How much”.Check the answers.Step7:Pairwork Point out the sample conversation.Ask Ss to read it to the class.Ask Ss make a new conversation in pairs.Step8:Make a banana milk shake Milk shake is a kind of drink,its convinient to make and healthy.You can make it at home. First,we need ingredients to make. Next, sak: “What cooking tools do we need?”S:A plate,a knife,a cup,a blender and a teaspoon. Everything is ready.Lets make it step by step. Show the pictures with the blanks on the screen as shown on Ss book.Point to the picture and describe each actions and act out.First,peel the bananas.And Ss chant like this:Peel,peel,peel the bananas.Then,cut up the bananas.Chant “Cut cut cut up the bananas.”Now, put the bananas and ice cream into the blender.Then,pour the milk into the blender.Next, turn on the blender.After two seconds ,turn off the blender.Finally,drink the milk shake.Step9:Repeat Ask several Ss repeat the procedures of making banana milk shake.Step10:Task “Can you make it?” Open your books on page 41 and fill in the blanks. Check the answers. Finish 1b. Ask Ss work in pairs use “First,then,now,then,next,and finally.” to make conversations. Different people have different taste.Not all the people like banana milk shake.So you can make apple milk shake、strawberry milk shake and anything you like.Step11:Task:Do a group work Discuss:How to make an orange milk shake?Work in groups of four to discuss how to make it and at last one student report it,This Ss can start like this: We are going to make an orange milk shake, First,peel three bananas. Then,cut up the bananas. Now,put the bananas and ice cream in the blender. Then,pour the milk into the blender. Next,turn on the blender. Finally,drink the milk shake.Step12:Summary Today we have learned some food,and how to make milk shake.Remember “DIY”means Do it by yourselves.Lets do it by our hands.We can enjoy our life.There is a lot of fun in cooking.Step13:Homework For todays homework:1、Make a cup of milk shake for your parents.2、Write down how to make an orange milk shake.课后反思:本节课是第7单元的第一课时,主要学习了如何制作香蕉奶昔、能叙述整个制作过程,根据本课的特点以小组为单位进行教学,通过各种教学途径,成功的完成了教学任务。反思整节课,有成功也有失败。成功之处:一、采用“任务型”教学途径,通过小组合作让学生体验和参与。英语课程标准中指出:“教师应根据教学内容,创造性的设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。学生通过思考、讨论、交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成教学任务。”在本节课中,我设计了两个任务:第一,在“Can you make it?”中两人一组以互问互答的形式检测了刚刚学习的制作步骤,能起到加深对步骤了解的作用。第二,给小组一个制作Orange milk shake的任务,学生四人一组可以根据制作香蕉奶昔的方法,讨论如何制作Orange milk shake,最后由一名同学汇报本小组的讨论情况。在这两次任务教学中,各个小组完成的都非常好。通过交流、讨论、分工、合作,每个学生都能积极的参与、体验,发挥自己的一技之长,兴趣非常浓重,不仅提高了综合运用语言的能力,发长了用英语解决实际问题的能力,还使学生的思维和想象力、审美情趣和艺术感受、协作和创新精神等综合素质得到发展。二、整堂课的设计都是以小组为单位
