(Section B)一 设计指导思想Go for it这本教材倡导“任务型”的教学模式以培养学生综合运用英语的能力。教师应注重设计贴近学生生活实际的教学活动,让学生在做中学,在学中体验,充分参与到课堂活动中来。 “让学生做事”是设计课堂教学的主要原则,也是设计课堂任务的主要思路。二 学情分析本课是学期的第一课,学生刚刚从快乐的假期返回课堂。学生在七年级上已经学过一般现在时的各种句式,对于本课的目标语言理解起来问题不大。但是各国国名,国人,语言和首都的拼写学生容易混淆,识记相对困难。所以我用多种方式加以操练。三 内容分析 本课是学期的起始课,授课内容是谈论国籍、语言和居住地。目标语言是掌握各国国名,所讲语言和首都。目标句型是Where is your pen pal from? Where does he live? ,在此基础上拓展一些各国的文化,标志性建筑和名人的信息,培养学生的国际视野。四 教学目标教学目标语言目标n 学会用be from和come from谈论人们的国籍n 用where询问所居住的城市n 学会描述各个国家所使用的语言。能力目标n 能够形容笔友或网友的相关资料。n 能够了解各国的国旗、标志性建筑和代表人物。n 能够表述各国所使用的语言。n 能够通过小组合作的方式实现互助与资源共享。跨学科学习n 地理: 了解世界n 了解一些地区的人文风俗五 其他教学要素重点词汇Canada, Japan, the United States, Brazil, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Mexico, China, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand教学重点n be from 和come from句型。n 有关国家名称和各国人的名词。教学难点n Where are you from?和Where does he come from的句式区别。n 国名,国人的读与写。教学工具多媒体课件和录音机六任务设计 本节课设计两个真实的任务Task One:选笔友活动。给出十四名外国朋友的资料,请学生根据自己的需要选择一个作为自己的笔友,并用英语向同学们介绍这位笔友的有关信息。Task Two:请同学们列出自己的QQ好友名单,挑选一些国外或省外的朋友向大家做介绍,介绍他/她所居住的城市、个人爱好、专长等信息。这两个任务之间合理过度,采取选择、确定、调查及汇报的授课方式,调动学生运用目标语言做事的积极性,引导学生在学习的过程中学会归纳和实践总结等方法,兼顾对学生学习策略等方面能力的培养;多采用小组活动形式完成任务,给学生更多运用英语的机会七 教学环节TopicUnit 1 Where is your pen pal from? Leaders from different countries gathered there talking about the environmental protection. Ask: “Do you know them? Which leader do you know? Where is he/she from?Look at the picture, talk about the leader they know. Eg: I know Obama. He is from the USA.Design this topic to arouse Students interest.
