Unit4 why dont you talk to your parents? Lesson plan of Section A 3a. Background information:Students: Grade 8, Class 1Lesson duration: 40 minutes. Teaching objectives: By the end of class, students should be able to:1. memorize new words and phrases;2. develop their reading skills of scanning;3. know about the problems of Sad and Thirteen and give advice properly;4. talk about their problems with family. Main points:1. Teach pronounces and meanings of new words and phrases. 2. Help students develop their reading skills of scanning. Difficult point:Lead students to find out problems of Sad and Thirteen from the passage and try their best to give proper advice. Teaching methods: The Task-based Language Teaching, the Audio-lingual Method and Group Work. Teaching aids: Blackboard, PPT and Whiteboard. Teaching procedures:Step1. Greeting.(Boys and girls, in todays class, if you answer my questions correctly, your group will get one point. At the end of class, which group gets the highest point, there is no need for you to copy new words and phrases.)Step2. Lead-in: T: Do you have problems with your family?S1: Yes. I always got a fight with my sister/ parents.S2: My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends.S3: T: Thats too bad. I have a friend, and he also has similar problems.Step3.
