Daily greeting. 2. Watch a short video from home with kids, and answer one question: Whats wrong with Xiao Yu? 设计意图:以妇孺皆知的家有儿女中有关小雨上辅导班片段引入课堂,吸引学生的注意力Step 2 Review (talk about problems)1. T: Show a picture of a man who has a lot of stress. Whats wrong with the man? She has too much/ a lot of stress. Do you often have a lot of stress? What are they? Yes. I 2. Ask and answer: Whats wrong with them? 设计意图:回顾第一课时所学的有关描述问题的短语,以过渡到本节课所学新知Step 3 Look and say (give advice) What activities can help lower(减少、削减) your pressure? (learn the new word pressure) 设计意图:由先前所学单词stress来解释新学单词pressure,学生容易掌握和接受 1. Look and say 2.look and read Talk to parents or other family members(learn the new word member) 3. What other activities can you think of? For example: go fishing, go bike riding 设计意图:发散思维,让学生尽可能多想出减压活动,为接下来的学生活动做铺垫While listeningStep 4 ListeningWork on 1c: 1. learn the new word compete.2.Ask one student read the sentences and pay attention to the phrases about problems.3.Listen and check the problems Wei Ming talks about.4.Check the answers: Work on 1d: 1. Let Ss read the sentences in 1d first. Tell Ss to listen again and fill in the blanks.2. Listen again and fill in the blanks. 3. Check the answers . 4.
