Hometown Feelings 一、教学目标1.知识目标:(1)能听、说、读、写以下词汇:hill,searchfor,among,crayon,shame,regard,according to,opposite,especially,sonside.(2)运用以下句型进行交际:He has lived in Wenzhou for the last 13 years.I havent been back for almost three years now.2.能力目标:通过阅读技能的训练,学会灵活运用现在完成时态表达思想。3.情感目标:通过短文阅读训练,培养学生热爱家乡之情。二教学重难点重点:通过阅读有关离乡人对家乡的谈论,理解体会思乡的情感。难点:学会利用已有的背景知识,预测文章内容三、教学过程:Step 1 Warming-up1. Listen to an English song Country road take me home,Its about “Hometown Feelings”.(通过倾听一首动听的英文歌,不仅放松学生心情,将学生的注意力迅速转移到课堂,而且暗示本课主题。) Step 2 Pre-reading1. Show pictures to introduce our hometown Wuzhou.2. Ask Ss to aswer “What is the passage about?” (让学生学会从题目和照片的暗示说出文章主旨。)3.Ask Ss to answer Qs. Q1: Why do many Chinese like Zhong Wei leave their hometowns?Q2: What will Zhong Wei talk about his hometown?Q3: What feelings does Zhong Wei have for his hometown?(引导学生思考离乡的原因;引导学生利用标题及其已有的背景知识,预测离乡人对家乡的谈论和对家乡的情感,为下面的阅读做好铺垫。)Step 3 While-reading (P78)1.
