According to the new regulations, drivers who have any part of their vehicles across the stop line when a light turns yellow will not be punished, but vehicles that are behind the stop line will not be allowed to cross.I see there are some complaints. A key complaint is that the revised rule raises the stakes for drivers who run yellow lights. Under the revision, running a yellow light would be treated the same as a running a red light and cost drivers a deduction of six points limit from their drivers licenses. Formerly, only three points were deducted. Drivers also complained that the extra care it forces them to take to avoid running yellow lights can easily cause rear-end collisions.But many others still cant understand, they think that when they drive on the road and meet yellow light, emergencily brake will increase the accidents. Some people think that it is difficult to put the car in a stopline promptly while seeing the green light turning to yellow, and sometimes may not brake the car.But in my own opinion, there are two meanings of the yellow light,one is to tell drivers ready to start after the red light,and the other is to tell drivers ready to park after the green light.It is ready to stop when the green light turns to yellow,but how to do it seems more difficult, because the situation is different. Sometimes driving through in the yellow light period maybe safer,but sometimes maybe not.Here are some other opinions of myself :The first: yellow light is very easy to create troubles for the drivers choose. According to the regulations, when the yellow light lits up, motor vehicle which hasnt across the stop line should stop immediately, such as to move on or over the stop line belong to violation of traffic signal lamp behavior. If any part of the body has crossed the stop line, it is allowed to continue to passing, dont do the traffic illegal behavior.So this will cause a problem, it is generally difficult for the driver to distinguish between vehicle is the line or not,there are tough choices such as when light turns yellow, whether the drives should go on or stop.So it is very easy to cause the selective obstacle.The second: the best measure to avoid rushing yellow light is to met intersection at a very slow speed, but such direct influence is prone to road congestion, and at the same time can also affect the normal running of the car those behind you. I found that when crossing road in a green light, to prevent rushing yellow light I decided to slow down to 25 km/h or so, after the car will respond and with big power brake deceleration and horn dissatisfied with this would also increases the occurrence of car tracing cauda, etc of the traffic accident probability.If you dont slow down at the crossroad, and when the lights turns yellow, the drives first reaction is to brake at full speed, it is easy to occur that cars behind you will piles up.In addition, this can also appear that you may not only cant brake your car but run over the stop line.,cause the car braking distance is different,The third: in addition to that, the new gauge added punishment and supervision dynamics to aviod rushing yellow light, so whether rush the red light or the yellow one,there is penalty and punishment, whether it is not necessary for yellow light to exist has become a controversial point. In fact yellow lights in the traffic light medium are used to give the driver warning and to buffer the traffic, but new gauge sets it the same punishment level as runing a red light, this doesnt conform to the purpose of traffic light setting.The new regulations will inevitably bring pain, but we can also see that the driver will get out of many bad habits such as breaking through yellow lights, call somebody when driving, not to wear seat belt, and many other bad habits. The improvement of the new preceeding needs lawmakers wisdom, lawenforcers fair and citizens cooperation.
